The Ground Zero Mosque project is not about religious tolerance. We permit thousands of mosques in our country—Islam is not a religion, Islam is an ideology that has some spiritual elements but strives for authoritarian control of every aspect of human life, social, political and economic.
The Ground Zero Islamic Cultural Center and Mosque project, is a stealth step in the “Grand Jihad” the term used by the Muslim Brotherhood and its confederates for what they describe as a “civilization” battle to destroy the U.S. and the West from within by sabotage.

Politicized Islam as an ideology only became popular within the last 50 years. For hundreds of years there have been plenty of successful examples of countries with large Muslim populations that have successfully established a separation between church and state. For example, Turkey, an overwhelmingly Muslim country, practices laicism as one of its founding mantras.
Politicized Islam in the Middle East rose up in the 1970s as a result of a number of problems in the Middle East; some were a reaction to Western Imperialism and others to a failure of Arab Nationalism.
The Muslim Brotherhood represents the tiniest fraction of Muslim. But your ignorant comments and sweeping attacks on Islam makes it a more and more appealing ideology to Muslims who are being persecuted for their beliefs.
Islam has existed for well over a millenium; to say that its history is bloodier than that of Christianity is an unsubstantiated claim.
