Inside China’s Black Jails –Image: China Media Report
(HRIC) Seven Chinese lawyers were severely beaten by Police in Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, when they attempted to visit Ziyang Legal Education Reeducation Center, the largest Black Jail in Sichuan Province.
The Lawyers Guo Haiyue, Liang Xiaojun, Jiang Tianyong, Tang Jitian, Lin Qilei and Zhang Keke and Tang Tinhao, who suffered the most serious injuries, resulting in his head being covered in blood, Jiang Tianyong right leg was severely injured when he was pelted with stones.
Four additional lawyers who went to Ziyang after hearing news of the beatings were also subsequently held by the China Regime, theses included three Beijing Rights Defense Attys Li Heping, Yang Huiwen and Wen Haibo together with Hangzhou lawyer Wang Cheng–by 2:00 am Beijing time on the 14 May, Wang and two others were released, leaving others remaining in custody, including Tang Jitian, the Beijing Rights Defense Atty who was tortured during the Jasmine Crackdown and still taking medication because of the torture he received.
According to sources of Human Rights in China (HRIC) during the 2013 Chinese New Year/Spring Festival, Ziyang Legal Education Reeducation Center also known as Ziyang Er’E Hu Brainwashing Center, was holding more than 260 people, some of those detained reportedly have been held there 5 to 6 years with some being tortured to death.
In 2008 while campaigning for President, then and now naive Barack Obama praised the ‘vastly superior’ China totalitarian regime.
