On the 27 July, 2012 I posted here pictures of a less than one day old abandoned girl weighing just over 3 lbs with her throat slashed found in China Anshan, Liaoning Province being treated in a local hospital.

On the 12 December, 2011 I posted news here about one and half year old toddler Xiao-Ling living behind bars at an orphange in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, abandoned by his family after it was discovered that he was an HIV carrier.

We’ll always welcome and have room for any unwanted child from China in our home.

Obamanomics New Abnormal: Jobless Rate Holds Steady in June at 7.6%

(Market Watch) The Dept of Labor reported today that the nation’s unemployment rate in June, held steady at 7.6% the ‘New Abnormal’ writes Zero Hedge which is turning out to be quite an embarrassment for the Obama Administration.

There is good news says’s Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge. ‘Even as manufacturing jobs continue to collapse putting their fourth consecutive monthly drop in June to 11.964 million jobs, minimum wage Servers and Bartenders have never been happier–In June, restaurant and bar employees just hit a new all time high of 10,339,800 workers, increasing by a whopping 51,700 in one month.’

Flashback: Remember before taking office Barack Obama pledged that he would put a renewed focus on jobs when the nations unemployment rate stood at 7.6%  (coincidentally right where it stands today, if one actually has confidence in the unemployment numbers? I digress) Obama claimed the nation’s jobless rate “…couldn’t be more serious, these numbers demand action…”

(Front Page) President Obama surprising no one, came to the defense of the Islamic Fascist Muslim Brotherhood leadership that was ousted in Egypt by a popular uprising–coincidentally, on the eve of the 237th anniversary of our own Independence Day.

“We are deeply concerned by the decision of the Egyptian Armed Forces to remove President (Mohamed) Morsi and suspend the (Sharia) Egyptian Constitution. I now call on the Egyptian military to move quickly and responsibly to return full authority back to the democratically elected civilian government as soon as possible through an inclusive and transparent (he likes calling for transparency of others, I digress) process and to avoid any arbitrary arrests of President Morsi and his supporters…”

President Obama who routinely has been on the wrong side of picking winners and losers in business and on the wrong side of history with his support of the Muslim Brotherhood, was ignored by the Egyptian Interim government which have detained and placed under house arrest former Egyptian President Morisi, arrested Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Leader Mohamed Badie and have issued arrest warrants for some 200 other Muslim Brotherhood  officials and leaders of other Islamist groups.

(WND) Obama drops  hundreds of millions of dollars to help Kenya farmers  to properly store veggies together with promises to send many hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars in additional aid for African energy programs.

On the 20 June, I wrote here that the U.S. Dept of Agriculture (USDA) slashed 600,000 recipients from the ‘Women’s, Infant’s & Children’ (WIC) program while wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars on programs such as subsidizing a Vodka distillery in North Carolina to providing grants for Virginia’s Meadow Croft Farm for ‘social media and marketing’ of pickles to Glenmary Gardens in Virgina to market ice cream, flavored syrup’s and jellies together with spending wasting $15,000 to to study the feasibility of producing fish food in Indiana.

How many of those 600,000 WIC recipient’s funds could be restored with the hundreds of millions of dollars that have been wasted by the USDA and for President Obama on his recent family vacation to Africa?

150th Anniversary of Gettysburg: Tribute To Civil War Hero “Chinese Yankee” Joseph Pierce

Civil War Hero Joseph Pierce

(Chinese Historical Society of America) Joseph L. Pierce was 21 years old when he enlisted in the Union Army in August, 1862 serving proudly in the 14th Connecticut  Infantry–Pierce had the distinction of achieving the highest rank for a Chinese-American Soldier during his period of service.
