(AP) President Obama said that he will ask Congress to approve an additional $56 Billion in new spending.
Flashback: Remember when then Senator Obama claimed that Bush was ‘irresponsible and unpatriotic’ for adding $4 Trillion in to the federal deficit in 8 years as president.
It took Obama just 39 months to run up $5 Trillion in new debt and claimed in an interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News last year, there is no debt crisis.
How irresponsible and unpatriotic is that?

(LA Times) Amid a big marketing push with cheesy ads ‘Covered California’ ObamaCare website suffered an outage yesterday (why does this sound familiar, I digress) allegedly as a result of software glitches.

1984 Is Here! Obama Administration is Seeking Access to ‘Full Twitter Historical Data’

(Washington Free Beacon) The Obama Administration by and through HHS (which by the way has been responsible for the ObamaCare roll-out disaster) now is seeking a ‘social media analytical tool’ that will give the government access to ‘full Twitter historical data’ according to a Fed Biz Opps.gov solicitation posted this week.
Yesterday I wrote here that the Obama Administration now wants to put government agents into newsrooms to pressure media organizations into covering certain stories which it deems to be suitable for dissemination and demand reporters, editors and station owners justify the stories which they run.
First the NSA began spying on every American, then the government went after FOX News and James Rosen next the Obama Administration went after the Little Sisters of the Poor after seizing control of health care, then the IRS went after ‘Tea Party’ groups that objected to government policy.
When they come for you will anyone be left to speak up for you?
- Where does this government intrusion into peoples lives end?
- Will Congress stop the lawless Obama Administration or just make more speeches (some excuses) about the chilling erosion of our civil liberties in an effort to raise money for the next election?

(Mediate) FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai in an editorial in the Wall Street Journal issued a warning to Americans that the agency will be putting ‘government monitors’ in newsrooms to inspect issues such as the amount of time is spent on the “critical information needs of the American public with special emphasis on vulnerable/disadvantaged populations.”
The Obama Administration has no place attempting to “pressuring media organizations into covering certain stories,” writes Pai of the 2013 proposal that would permit government agents to “grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run.”
What a chilling erosion of our sacred 1st Amendment liberties which specifically protects free speech from government interference.

(Breitbart) Two more Congressional Democrats announced today that they’ll not seek reelection this year. On the 13 January, I wrote here that Liberal Democrat Congressional Rep George Miller (D-CA) and Rep Mike McIntyre (D-NC) announced their exodus from Congress.
According to the Highland Community News Rep Negrete-McLeid has decided to drop out of her bid for reelection to Congress, after she raised more than $28,000 according to Open Secrets.org for her now defunct congressional campaign and instead seek election for San Bernardino County Supervisor, claiming an unwaivering commitment to her constituents and district.
Will Rep Negrete-McLeod demonstrate her commitment of “steadfast dedication” to those who supported her, by returning all of the campaign money that shes raised for her reelection campaign to Congress now that shes no longer a candidate?

(CNS News) The marketable U.S. Debt of the Federal Govt has more than doubled–climbing by 106% during Obama’s Watch increasing from $5.75 Trillion at the end of January 2009 to $11.82 Trillion at the end of last month according to the U.S. Treasury’s latest monthly statement of the public debt.
Flashback: Remember when Obama called (then) President Bush unpatriotic for adding $4 Trillion to the federal deficit in 8 years as President and likewise when Obama claimed that raising the federal debt ceiling doesn’t increase our debt.

(Inside Bay Area) California Democrat State Sen Bill Monning announced legislation last week that would put ‘warning labels’ on sodas and other sugary drinks that these beverages may be hazardous to ones health and cause obesity.
Duh–What does Monning think, that we’re stupid?
