Covered California7 Out of 10 Physicians in California Boycotting ObamaCare

(Market Watch) Covered California allegedly enrolled a combined total of 3 Million consumers of these:

  • 500,000 Have Failed to Complete the Enrollment Process
  • Covered California Allegedly Fully Enrolled 1.22 Million

ObamaCare we were told was designed to insure the uninsured and not just reinsure the 6.2 Million+ Americans who previously had health insurance but whose policies were canceled because they didn’t meet the federal govt mandates for insurance coverage.

Covered California allegedly 3 Million enrollments are actually quite dismal when put into perspective.

(CNS) The number of Women unemployed climbed 180,000 in March according to data released by the U.S. Dept of Labor today.

On Friday, I wrote here that President Obama and Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) oppose legislation that would restore the 40 hour work week which ObamaCare reduced to 30 hours, limiting job opportunities and sacrificing liberty for many Women.

(CNS) While Obama took a grandiose victory lap this week ‘claiming’ that some 7 Million Americans signed up for ObamaCare, we’ve learned that the ObamaCare Maryland Health Connection website that had been plagued by enrollment delays, only 60,000 people enrolled in the ObamaCare state exchange–13,000 less than the number of persons whose health insurance policies were canceled due to the new federal health insurance mandates.

On the 29 March, the Weekly Standard reported that the Maryland ObamaCare exchange which cost American taxpayers $125.5 Million, is broken beyond repair and they will be replacing the website with software from Connecticut’s state exchange.

(Roll Call) Rep Jim Moran (D-VA) claims that Members of Congress already being paid (more than their worth) $174,000 annually are underpaid adding, “A lot of Members can’t afford to live decently in Washington.”

The retiring Moran Moron, intends to remedy this matter, what he sees as a “gross inequality” by introducing legislation that would hike Congressional salaries.

March Jobs Data Weaker Than Expected, Obama Vows Veto of House Bill to Restore 40 Hr Work Week

(RILA) In a letter sent to Congress on Wednesday, the ‘Retail Industry Leaders Assn” called on Congress to immediately pass bipartisan legislation “Save American Workers Act” (HR 2575) to restore the historic 40 hour work week that ObamaCare killed.

Flashback: Remember when then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed that ObamaCare will create 4 Million—400,000 jobs almost immediately and death of 40 hour work week means freedom to follow your passion.

President Obama vowed to veto the legislation if it ever made it to his desk.

It should be of no surprise that March payroll data that was expected to increase 200,000+ jobs according to Zero Hedge was lower than economists anticipated.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield Assn: 15-20% Are Not Paying ObamaCare Premiums

Thursday, April 3rd, 2014

ObamaCare Is Working...

(Natl Journal) Blue Cross & Blue Shield Assn says 15 to 20% of their new customers are not paying the first months health insurance premiums, which means they are not actually covered, despite Obama’s grandiose claims yesterday that the ACA is a huge success as some 7 Million have enrolled in ObamaCare.

This news should come as no surprise but confirms what theĀ NY Times reported in February, that 20% of those who have supposedly ‘enrolled’ in ObamaCare failed to pay their first months premium.

Yesterday I wrote here that if one were to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt that some 7 Million actually enrolled in ObamaCare, given that there are some 316+ Million Americans living in some 115.2 Million households, the ACA is hardly a huge success story as President Obama claimed on Wednesday.

ObamaCare was to insure the previously uninsured and not reinsure the 6.2+Million Americans who previously had health insurance but whose policies were canceled because they didn’t meet the federal govt minimum standards for coverage.

Given the news that some 20% (or 1.4 Million) of the 7 Million Americans which Obama claims enrolled in the ACA may not have actually even made their first month’s ObamaCare payment, the so called “success” of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement is dubious at best and most likely seriously in jeopardy of failure.

Former Nebraska Democrat Senator Bob Kerrey Calls Obama a Self Delusional Liar, Media Silent

Thursday, April 3rd, 2014

Bob Kerry

(NewsBusters) Imagine if a former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. Senator had called a current president a delusional liar who programs are wasteful–the dinosaur media would be all over that story. Such a person would be interviewed on MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, the media buzz would be red hot for days and this topic analyzed over and over, extending into weeks.

There is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, the media is all but silent.

It likewise should be no surprise that Kerrey’s criticism’s of Obama appeared in the Daily Mail in Great Britain and not in the United States where the shunning has already begun.

Former Nebraska Sen Bob Kerrey said that Obama isn’t up to the job of bringing Liberals and Conservatives to the table–likewise Obama knew that he was lying when he promised the ACA would allow Americans to keep the health insurance plans they liked.

“He (Obama) had to know that he was misleading the audience,” Kerrey said quietly recalling the newly minted president’s countless promises as Congress and the public debated his signature health insurance overall. “On the other hand, he may have said it so many times,” Kerrey added, “that the spell-checker, the fact-checker–somebody who says ‘Excuse me Mr President but I hope you know this…’

The worst lie Democrats told about ObamaCare Kerrey reasoned, “is not, ‘if you want to keep your health care plan…’ the worst one is, everybody deserves high-quality, affordable health care.”

Another of Obama’s failings according to Kerrey, is an inflated sense of Americans appetite for programs to correct what the White House calls “income inequality” through new taxes and other income shifting initiatives. Obama’s reelection 17 months ago wasn’t a mandate to conduct class warfare–later calling Obama “self delusional.”

Using Twitter to Forecast New Applications for Jobless Benefits; First Time Unemployment Claims Spike 16,000 Last Week

What Twitter Knows About Jobless Claims

(WSJ) A significant number of people filed initial claims for unemployment benefits at least if you believe an index based off of Twitter.

Economists at the Univ of Michigan have developed a technique that scans billions of Tweets, looking for people Tweeting about job losses and then creates a prediction of the Labor Dept’s weekly report on initial filings–their prediction, 342,000 people filed new claims for jobless benefits last week.

Applications for first time unemployment benefits shot-up 16,000 last week bringing the total to 326,000 from the previous weeks ‘revised’ unemployment claims the U.S. Dept of Labor reported this morning.

On the 04 February, I wrote here an historically high number of people will be locked out of the labor force because of ObamaCare according to a study from the Congressional Budget Office, CNBC reported in February.

Did the State of Michigan Just Trigger a Constitutional Convention?

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014

Natl Debt --Cagle CartoonsU.S. Federal Budget Deficit $17.5+ Trillion

(FOX News) Momentum is building behind what would be an unprecedented effort to amend the Constitution and balance the federal budget, in the wake of lawmakers in the State of Michigan, becoming the 34th state to exercise their rights triggering the 2/3 necessary pursuant to Article V of the Constitution of the United States.

In the wake of Michigan’s vote, Rep Duncan Hunter (R-CA) pressed House Speaker John Boehner yesterday to determine whether the states crossed the necessary threshold to begin the process of achieving a balanced budget amendment and Obama, can’t do a damn thing about it.

If 2/3 of the states have indeed called for a constitutional convention, the ball is now in Congress’ court.

The last time a successful amendment was ratified was May 1992 the 27th Amendment on Congressional pay increases.
