Therefore He (Jesus) is always able to save those who approach God through Him, since He lives forever to make intercession for them.

It was fitting that we should have such a High Priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, higher than the heavens, He has no need, as did the high priests, to offer sacrifice day after day, first for his own sins and then for those of the people; He did that once for all when He offered Himself. For the Law appoints men subject to weakness to be high priests but the word of the oath, which was taken after the Law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

The main point of what has been said is this: We have such a High Priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, a minister of the sanctuary and of the true Tabernacle that the Lord, not man set up.

Now every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, thus the necessity for this one also to have something to offer. If then he were on earth, he would not be a priest since there are those who offer gifts according to the Law. They worship in a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, as Moses was warned when he was about to erect the Tabernacle. For he says, ‘See that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.’

Now He has obtained so much more excellent a ministry as He is a Mediator of a better covenant, enacted on better promises.  Hebrews 7:25- 8:6

Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them.

Full of honor and majesty is His work and His righteousness endures forever. He has gained renown by His wonderful deeds. The Lord is gracious and merciful. He provides food for those who fear Him, He is ever mindful of His covenant. He has shown His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.

The works of His hands are faithful and just, all His precepts are trustworthy. They are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. He sent redemption to His people. He has commanded His covenant forever.

Holy and awesome is His name.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. All those who practice it have a good understanding.

His praise endures forever.  Psalm 111:2-10

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through Him and without Him, nothing came to be. To those who did accept Him, He gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in His name — The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us and we saw His glory, the glory as the Father’s only Son full of grace and truth. John 1:12, 14

John The Baptist’s Testimony of Jesus

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and said: “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, He is the One of whom I said, ‘A Man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because He existed before me.’ I did not know Him but the reason why I came baptizing with water was that he might be made known to Israel.”

John testified further saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon Him. I did not know Him but the One who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, He is the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ Now I have seen and testified that He is the Son of God.” John 1:29-34
