(The Blaze) Former Obama Advisor David Axlerod appeared on MSNBC this morning to shed light on why he believed President Obama didn’t immediately call the Boston Marathon Bombings an act of terrorism. In addressing the controversy Axelrod said that “Tax Day” may have been a factor in holding back Obama from using the word terrorism.
“…and I’m sure what was going on through the president’s mind is–we really don’t know who did this–it was tax day. Was it someone who was pro-you know you just don’t know…and so I think his (Obama’s) attitude is, lets not put any inference into this, lets just make clear that we’re going to get the people responsible.”

CNS News reports today, that while no group has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon, that an Al-Qaeda terrorist recommended that Islamic Jihadists in America use sporting events in their list of prospective terrorist targets.
