(Catholic Register) Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister and Religious Freedom Ambassador, issued a joint statement this week condemning the forced conversions of Christians in Syria.
“We are concerned by reports of Christians from the Village of Maaloula near Damascus, being forced to convert to Islam by Syrian rebels, allegedly led by Al-Qaeda linked fighters,” said in the statement from Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and Ambassador For Religious Freedom Andrew Bennett. “Threats of violence used to forcibly convert individuals to another faith are completely unacceptable.”
The CIA has been delivering light machine guns and other small arms to Syrian rebels for several weeks following President Obama’s decision to arm his Al-Qaeda allies, according to Yahoo News/AP The agency has also made arrangements for the Syrian Islamic Jihad Terrorist Thugs to receive rocket propelled grenades through a third country, presumably one of the Gulf countries that have been arming the rebels.
President Obama, together with RINO Senator’s John McCain and Lindsey Graham’s supported Syrian Al-Qaeda rebels, continue to request more sophisticated anti-aircraft weaponry claiming that it would be used to take out Syria’s helicopters but there has been a reluctance so far, to supply the Al-Qaeda rebels with that hardware.
How long will it be before these American taxpayer supported weapons are used against U.S. and/or Israel soldiers?
