(FOX News Los Angeles) When 10 year old Colin told his Mom that he didn’t want to have a birthday party because he had no friends to invite, she created a Facebook page Happy Birthday Colin to show him how many people really do “Like” him.
“We were talking about his birthday coming up (March 9) and I had mentioned it a few times and he said that he didn’t want a party,” Jennifer of Kalamazoo, Michigan said.” When Colin’s Mother asked, “Why don’t you want a party?” Colin said, “Mom, who am I going to invite? I don’t have any friends.”
Bothered by Colin’s words–he was diagnosed with a form of Autism & Asperger syndrome last year–Jennifer turned to Facebook to surprise her Son and created a Facebook page Happy Birthday Colin where she asked family and friends to wish her Son a ‘Happy Birthday’ by liking the page.
Colin still doesn’t know of the Facebook page and his Mom, hopes to give him a big birthday surprise with it on Colin’s birthday.
As of this evening, Happy Birthday Colin has more than 1.8 Million “Likes” his Mother Jennifer, has also set up a P.O. Box for those who want to mail Colin birthday cards.
