In January I wrote here that China continues to restrict press freedom. Comrade Obama and his Communist surrogates fear free speech and have taken a page from the Marxist playbook, the central authority restricting the free exchange of information, political thought and ideas in order to control its citizenry.
Free Speech is essential in the pursuit of learning, every idea or thought is not an avenue of incitement. Censorship is an intrusion on civil liberties because of its “chilling effect” on First Amendment Rights.
Democrat-Socialists are preventing Republican House Members from sending to their constituents a mailing that is critical of the Majority’s Health Care reform plan, blocking the mailing by alleging that it is inaccurate.
House Republicans are crying foul, claiming that the Democrat-Socialists are using their Majority to prevent the GOP Members from communicating with their constituents.
The dispute centers on a chart created by Kevin Brady, R-TX and Republican staffers of the Joint Economic Committee to illustrate the organization of the Democrat-Socialist Health Care Plan.
