(China Digital Times) The Obama Administration says that politics will not be on FLOTUS Michelle Obama’s itinerary during her China trip on the taxpayers dime, that she will give no interviews and the news media that often fawns over “The Obama’s” were not invited.

This is a shame especially since Michelle O’s visit comes just one week after prominent China female rights activist Cao Shuli died while in custody because authorities denied her lawyers request to have her released on medical parole.

First Lady Michelle Obama having already ~~spent~~ wasted $5 Million of taxpayers dollars for her two day trip to Ireland last year, in 2012 Michelle O’s ski vacation in Aspen cost taxpayers $83,182.99 and some $10 Million was spent on vacations in 2010 (Michelle O’s trip to Spain in August, 2010 cost taxpayers $467,585.00 alone) while everyone else in the nation have been making sacrifices and tightening their belts.

With the arrival of Spring, according to The Daily Mail Michelle O, together with her daughters and Mother, have planned another pricey week long family vacation this time to China, money is certainly no object when its all at taxpayers expense.

China Regime Blames Internet Freedom for Terrorism

(Epoch Times) China regime official Zhang Chunxian in charge of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region blamed Internet freedom for causing terrorist attacks in a report given to the National People’s Congress on Thursday in Beijing, arguing that:

“Ninety percent of the violent terrorist attacks by Xinjiang (Separatists) are due to circumvention technologies for breaking the firewall…They use videos on the Internet to continue organizing attacks.”

Many Chinese resort to circumventing firewall using technologies such as “Freegate” because the China Regime strictly controls the Internet and blocks social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

On the 16 July, 2012 I wrote here that the ‘Sina-Weibo’ account of the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai disappeared, American diplomats naively were scratching their heads trying to figure out what had happened. Subsequently, on the 18 August, 2011 I wrote here that the China Regime attempted to scrub from the Internet blog posts reporting on the mass demonstrations that were happening in Dalian, Liaoning Province.

Free speech is essential in the pursuit of learning, every idea or thought is not an avenue of incitement, censorship only results in the pursuit of finding cracks in the Great Firewall of China.

(Washington Times) Looking beyond further than the eye can see, the Obama Administration today proposed gutting the military to its smallest size in 74 years, by closing bases and reshaping forces to confront a “more volatile, more unpredictable” world and scrapping the entire fleet of Air Force A-10 attack aircraft.

Rep Michael McCaul (R-TX) Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee according to FOX News warned the cuts would hurt military readiness.

What could possibly go wrong with the Obama Administration’s proposed military cuts as Russia plans to deploy new ICBM missiles together with improvements to its nuclear arsenal and the China regime which I wrote here and here are busy modernizing its Navy while they see weakness in Obama, during a time of crisis’s erupting throughout the world which threatens our national security interests as well as our allies?

(CNA) U.S. Catholic leaders criticized a United Nations committee 16 page report for attempting to impose secular moral views on the church.

Austin Ivereigh, founder of Catholic Voices an organization of lay faithful who defends the Church’s teachings in the public sphere called the report “ignorant and misguided,” adding that it “betrays an extraordinary misunderstanding of the nature of the Church and Holy See,” while seeking to “impose an ideology of gender of sexuality in violation of the U.N.’s own commitment to religious freedom.”

Where is the U.N. moral outrage when an intolerant Syrian Muslim Cleric smashed a statue of the Virgin Mary to shouts of “Allah Akbar” or when Obama & U.N. supported Syrian Al-Qaeda rebels executed captured soldiers and brutalized Christians?

Where’s the U.N. condemnation of Obama’s endorsed, China Regime coercive ‘One Child Policy’ and the murders of millions of babies over the last 40 years?

(WSJ) China, Honk Kong ranks (No 1) the United States falls to (No 12) in the ‘2014 Index of Economic Freedom’ released today by the Heritage Foundation/The Foundry which points out, the U.S. has declined six places since Obama took office nearly 5 years ago.

On the 12 January, 2012 Open Market.org reported that the steady decline of the United States economic freedom could easily be attributed to the implementation of ObamaCare, together with its burdensome over regulations and costs.

(News China) Subsequent to China Regime new Dictator-in-Chief Xi Jinping’s pledge in January to ‘fight tigers and swat flies’ meaning corrupt officials at all levels–a handful of high profile prosecutions have indeed given a modicum weight to his words however, political scientists have warned the sheer extent of the corruption in China continues to outpace all attempts at a crackdown.

Nowadays anti-corruption campaigners and investigators have revealed that few officials take cash for bribes, instead they want securities, discounted real estate holdings, free luxury cars, expensive ‘gifts’ for their families or vouchers redeemable at luxury stores. Few of these items leave a paper trail and even real estate holdings are rarely listed in the official’s name.

The China Regime flawed system helps to make corruption self-sustaining. “A corrupt official tends to promote other corrupt official’s on the understanding that everyone is corrupt, then everyone is safe,” said Ren Jianming, a governance expert from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics.

Professor Ren warned that the ‘trickle-down’ effect of corruption means that this trend is very dangerous. Corruption at the highest levels can easily pollute an entire government department or ministry–Given that corruption is a fundamental part of the political culture in officialdom, no isolated institutional reform can endanger significant substantial changes.
