May Our Loved Ones Rest In Peace

As some have realized my absence during the last week, I wanted to take this opportunity to share that my Mother went home to be with Jesus on Friday — I am happy that shes in a better place and her days of pain and suffering are over.

“We need not fear death but rather welcome it as the door to heaven
and to the joy of eternal life.” –Pope Francis

It is always a difficult time to say good bye to those whom we have loved but as Christians we know that life is only changed and not ended, death is merely a passage to a new and fuller life, ultimately to the resurrection and eternal union with God.

Thank You all who have expressed their condolences.

May you all find peace and joy in your lives during this Season of Advent and Christmas when we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, who knew when He was born that He was going to die as our sacrifice, defeating sin and death.

“In you O Lord, I take refuge, let me never be put to shame. In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me, incline your ear to me and save me. Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

Rescue you me O my God from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel. For you, O Lord are my hope, my trust, O Lord from my youth. Upon you I have leaned from my birth, it was you who took me from my mother’s womb, my praise is continually of you…My mouth is filled with your praise and with your glory all day long.

O God do not be far from me…I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all day long, though their number is past my knowledge. I will come praising the mighty deeds of the Lord God, I will praise your righteousness, yours alone.

O God from my youth you have taught me and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and grey hairs, O God do not forsake me until I proclaim your might to all the generations to come. Your power and your righteousness O God, reach the high heavens.

You who have done great things O God, who is like you? You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again, from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

I will praise you with the harp, for your faithfulness, O my God. I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to you, my soul also, which you have rescued. All day long my tongue will talk of your righteous help, for those who tried to do me harm have been put to shame and disgraced.” –Psalm 71:1-6; 8; 12; 14-24

Eighth Day of Advent: Today Christians Celebrate Feast of Saint Nicholas

(Franciscan Media) The absence of ‘hard facts’ of history is not necessarily an obstacle to the popularity of Saint’s as the devotion of Saint Nicholas shows.

Both the Eastern and Western Churches honor him and it is claimed after the Blessed Virgin Mary, he is the Saint most pictured by Christian artists and yet historically, we can pinpoint only the fact that Nicholas was the 4th Century Bishop of Myra (modern day Turkey) that he was generous to the poor writes SQPN and special protector of the innocent and wronged.

Stories have grown up around him, prior to him becoming associated with ‘Santa Claus’ perhaps the best known story of Nicholas concerns his charity towards a poor man who was unable to provide dowries for his three daughters of marriageable age.

Rather than see the three young Women forced into a life of prostitution, Nicholas secretly tossed a bag of gold through the poor man’s window on three separate occasions, thus enabling the daughters to be married.

in Your Lives -Image Courtesy: Sister Vernonica Paul

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, thankful for your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now and I am sure that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

It is right for me to feel thus about you all because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus and it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more with knowledge and discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. –Philippians 1:2-11

(Asia News) China authorities arrested two Priests Fr. Shaoyun Quan and Fr. Jianyou Cao in the City of Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province just after they celebrated Mass, the Priests were taken to an unknown location.

Fr. Quan the Parish Priest and his Deputy Fr. Cao, serve underground Church communities–under existing laws, religious activities outside the control of the China regime are illegal and anyone involved in such activities are subject to arrest.

Flashback: Remember in February, when naive and ignorant or self delusional Obama is when he told Vox.com ‘We should welcome China’s peaceful rise, partly from just an ethical perspective.”

In my article on Obama’s interview, I cited numerous examples and a gallery of pictures of just how phantasm Obama is when it comes to the China regime.

Last year I wrote here that China authorities in Wenzhou removed a cross from atop ‘Salvation Church’ and according to Reuters reportedly dismantled a cross at a convalescent a week in Zhejiang Province just before Christmas in a growing crackdown on Christianity that the totalitarian Marxist regime fears.

(RUDAW) ISIS Jihadists blew up a Catholic Church in the al-Arabi district of Iraq, Mosul said Rev Behnam Raad: “Members of the extremist organization (ISIS) cleared the Church of Virgin Mary of its contents north of Mosul and blew it up after a few hours.”

Local sources told RUDAW News, that ISIS sealed off the Church and planted the bombs last Thursday–Christmas Day.

Earlier this month, I wrote here that ISIS reportedly are turning some Churches into prisons, stripping them of their priceless artifacts and sexually brutalizing Woman.

On the 10 August, I wrote here that Father Nawar, a Catholic Priest from Iraq, Nineveh (once considered the Christian capitol of the country until the Kurdish military was forced to withdraw and it fell to ISIS Thugs) told Catholic News Agency “Today the story of Christianity is finished in Iraq People can’t stay because there is death everywhere.”
