(KERO 23 ABC News/Bakersfield)  Live Nation Entertainment, Inc has announced the layoff’s of 500 more people in Southern California as it prepares to close Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City.

On the 17 August, I wrote here some 850 people in California were thrown out of work as Orchard Hardware Supply company announced that 17 of its stores were closing subsequent to its bankruptcy.

Earlier last month I wrote here that San Jose based Cisco System’s announced they would be laying off 4,000 employees or about 5% of its workforce in order to manage costs.

Obamanomics Foreclosure

(EpochTimes) Home foreclosures in Maryland have skyrockrted according to Realty Trac which reported that foreclosure starts are up 275% over last year.

Maryland leads the nation in the surge of foreclosures, with Oregon coming in a distant second at 137% over a year ago, New Jersey, 89%

In July, Jacksonville, Florida led the nation in foreclosures according to News 4 Jax.com Florida had the highest number of foreclosure filings and the highest state for foreclosure rate for the third consecutive month in July, with one in every 328 housing units with a foreclosure filing.

On the 15 August, I wrote here all of this dismal economic news is occurring while Obama claims that the economy is improving as personal income dropped 5.3% during the first quarter 2013 and California lenders filed 25,747 notices of default between April and June an increase of 38.7% from the previous quarter.

(LA Daily News) Seventeen more stores are being shuttered in California subsequent to the bankruptcy sale of Orchard Supply Hardware, company officials confirmed yesterday throwing some 850 more people out of work as the state’s joblessness worsens ticking up to 8.7% in July from 8.5% during the previous month.

On Thursday I wrote here that San Jose based Cisco Systems announced this week that they’ll be laying off 4,000 employees or about 5% of their workforce.

In July, President Obama pivoted on job’s for the 19th time since taking office, while almost simultaneously defending his dismal economic record in Illinois before heading to of all places Los Angeles this month for his latest appearance on the Jay Leno Show where Obama claimed there are a lot of ‘good economic trends’ during his watch.

(Bloomberg/Businessweek) San Jose based Cisco Systems announced yesterday that they will be cutting 4,000 employees–about 5% of its workforce.

On the 30 July, I wrote here that employees of the San Onofre Power Plant learned that 900 of them would be laid-off by Labor Day.

All of this dismal economic news is occurring while Obama claims that the economy is improving, as personal income dropped 5.3% during the first quarter of 2013 and California lenders filed 25,747 notices of default between April and June, an increase of 38.7% from the previous quarter.

Obama on NBC ‘The Tonight Show’ With Jay Leno, Had the President Fessed Up…

Obama On The Tonight ShowObama on the “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno –Charley Canucky/Twitter

(Politico) During President Obama’s interview with Jay Leno on Tuesday, Obama claimed, “The unemployment rate has been ticking down and housing is improving. We’ve seen the deficit cut in half…So there are a lot of good trends.”

Huh?

On the 02 August I wrote here that just 953,000 jobs have been created in 2013 of those 731,000 are part-time–Likewise personal income has dropped 5.3% during the first quarter of this year–Is this what President Obama touting as a great success of his economic policies?

What about record poverty levels, Hispanic unemployment rate of 9% and youth unemployment over 16% which President Obama conveniently failed to address again when cheering what he sees as “good trends” during his watch.

One in every 324 of all U.S. housing units received a foreclosure filing in the 2nd Qtr 2013 according to Business Insider and in California lenders filed 25,747 notices of default between April and June which was up 38.7% from the previous quarter–just a couple of facts that must have just slipped Obama’s mind?

As for the federal budget deficit which President Obama claims has been cut in half, once again the facts just don’t resemble what the president says.

Before the financial panic of 2008 Hot Air points out, the federal govt was spending about $1 Trillion less–about $2.7 Trillion annually.

Doubling The Debt

During Obama’s Watch, federal debt has doubled according to the Office of Management & Budget which reports that President Obama will become the first president ever to break the $4 Trillion spending level in a single year and debt held by the public as a share of the economy will continue to climb to what the Obama Administration forecasts in 2014 will hit 78.2% of GDP despite the superfluous claims made yesterday during President Obama’s 6th appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno.

Obama on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno Today as L.A. Motorists Brace for Obamajam

(White House Dossier) President Obama continues to say nothing to a jittery nation about what some who have been briefed on the potential Islam Jihad Terrorist attacks on the United States, declining to either offer reassurance or an explanation of the perils the nation faces.

Certainly President Obama doesn’t want to take questions about the threat he had minimized during the 2012 campaign when he claimed “Al-Qaeda has been decimated, Osama bin-Laden is dead.

Incredibly, the first question President Obama may take on the situation may come from “The Tonight Show’s” Jay Leno where he’s scheduled to appear this afternoon at 4:30 pm–earlier today, Obama’s in Phoenix for yet another campaign-style appearance at Desert Vista High School to pitch mortgage reform during his latest stop of his so called economic tour.

In related news, Los Angeles drivers are bracing for ‘Obamajam’ today as Obama Heads to Burbank this afternoon–Air Force One is scheduled to land at LAX at 3:30 pm for Obama’s latest trip to California, which is very expensive to taxpayers.

It costs $179,750 to operate Air Force One per hour which excludes additional aircraft and labor costs associated with each presidential trip but its not Obama’s money.

How many weeks worth of  White Hours tours could be funded if President Obama just stayed home and did his appearance with Jay Leno from the Oval Office?

Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison: “There’s Plenty of Money, The Govt Just Doesn’t Have It”

Tuesday, August 6th, 2013

Tax And Spend

(CNS News) Minnesota Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison, speaking to a group of fellow Democrat/Socialists at the ‘Progressive Democrats of America’ roundtable on the 25 July according to Red Alert Politics made the startling announcement that the federal government isn’t as bad off as it may seem.

“The bottom line is we’re not broke, there’s plenty of money, it’s just the government doesn’t have it–the government has a right, the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States–Health, Welfare and Housing…all these things.”

On the 25 July, I wrote here that Pro-Golfer Phil Mickelson from California, walked away with $21.6 Million in just two weeks after winning both the ‘British Open Championship & Scottish Open’ but after paying all of the taxes owed on his winnings which included the new ObamaCare Medicare Surtax and handed over 13.3% to the State of California, Forbes estimated that Mickelson would have left $842,700 which doesn’t include any tax deductible travel expenses and the additional 10% he owes his Caddy.

Where does the government ‘get the right’ to confiscate more and more of the American peoples wealth?

When is enough, enough?

World's Highest Standard Of LivingObamanomics: Trickle Up Poverty –Monica/Twitter

(Zero Hedge) When the Labor Dept released today’s jobs report, the world is finally noticing what we’ve been saying for nearly 3 years–the United States is slowly being converted to a part-time worker society.

This slow conversion accelerated drastically in the last few months and especially in June when part-time jobs exploded higher by 360,000 while full time jobs dropped by 240,000

On Wednesday I wrote here if the “Obamanomics Magic” is working as well as many Americans had hoped for 4 out of 5 Americans would not be struggling with joblessness, poverty and/or relying on food stamps for at least part of their lives–a sure sign of a deteriorating economy and an elusive American dream.

Obamanomics Magic: ‘Knowledge Economy’ New GDP Revision to Make Recovery Look More Robust

Wednesday, July 31st, 2013

Recovery Summer Anniversary

(WSJ) If one really believes the Obama Administration’s Commerce Dept, we’ve been told (to believe)  that the U.S. economy expanded at a stronger pace in 2012 than previously measured and the great economic recession depression (to many Americans) was less severe because of Obamanomics.

The nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the country expanded at a 2.8% rate last year versus a previous estimate of 2.2% all of this interestingly may be explained (which much of the dinosaur media is silent about) because of big new change in the Commerce Dept measures what it calls the “knowledge economy” which includes money spent creating enduring artistic products and books that will now count as an investment according to Business Insider/Reuters together with intangible investments including brand-building, employee training and spending by companies to make their operations more efficient, research and development will all be added to the way the Commerce Dept is using ‘New, New Math’ to calculate the size of economic growth and inflate the numbers to show, Americans are now suddenly more prosperous than we first thought and the nations economy is chugging along thanks to Obamanomics Magic.

Well, that is if one is willing to just believe what they’re told by a government that is willing to manipulate numbers, attempting to fool Americans gullible enough to believe what they otherwise know is true.

Obama’s economic recovery compared to its WW II predecessors is exceptionally weak according to Real Clear Politics that reports we’ve become a nation of part-timer workers. If our economy was so robust, one would be expecting the number of part-time jobs to be on the decline as companies would be expanding and hiring more full-time workers but this is not the case.

Personal income has dropped 5.3% during the first quarter of this year the Epoch Times reports food and gasoline prices have also risen. This loss of disposable income also affects personal savings which has declined a whopping 44.6% in the first quarter 2013 according to a May article by the Savings and Retirement Foundation.

Likewise, if the ‘Obamanomics Magic’ was creating all this new found wealth and prosperity that we know doesn’t exist, given the fact that just this week the Associated Press reported 4 out of 5 Americans are struggling with joblessness, poverty and/or relying on food stamps for a least part of their lives–a sign of a deteriorating economy and an elusive American dream.

All of this, despite the Obamanomics Magic–Knowledge Economy, which we’re to believe, makes all of us much more prosperous than we ever knew we wasn’t.

Southern California Energy Plant Closure to Kill 900 Jobs by Labor Day

Obamanomics Reality

(NBC Los Angeles) Employees of the San Onofre Power Plant were shocked with the news that some 900 of them will be laid off by Labor Day as the plant prepares to close. Dan Dominguez a long time employee and nuclear reactor operator said, “Thirty one years and its over and done with.”

While environmental activists applaud the decision to close the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, 1,500 workers learned that 900 of their fellow employees will soon be laid off, joining the thousands of other Americans out of a good paying jobs in an anemic economy.

According to Bloomberg/Businessweek there were 1.3 million businesses in California at the end of last year–5.2% fewer than at the end of 2011

In other states Massachusetts lost 5,200 businesses, the second highest amount, Kansas had 3.1% fewer businesses in 2012 than in 2011

On the 10 November, I wrote here that subsequent to Obama’s reelection, Ohio energy job losses mount as a consequence to the Obama Administration’s war on reliable coal fired power plants.

All of this is occurring while President Obama claims the economy is improving and more Americans are going back to work but fails to explain, if the economy is on the rebound, how is it that his policies are continuing to destroy jobs, opportunity and peoples economic livelihoods across America?
