$5.00 Gas Returns to Southern California –CBS Los Angeles

Gasoline prices in Southern California rose again today, leaving some drivers paying over $5.00 a gallon. FOX News Los Angeles reports that AAA says that the average price of a gallon of self serve regular gasoline in L.A. County has risen 12.3 cents a gallon in a week, 55.1 cents higher than one month ago.

On the 05 February, I wrote here that consumers are spending more at the pump with gasoline prices spiking to record levels for this time of the year.

Remember when ‘Hoax-n-Chains’ claimed in 2008 that rising gasoline prices were the result of George W. Bush’s failed energy policies. Where is the outrage from the political left now, as gasoline prices continue to spike during Obama’s Watch?

Lone Star State Quickly On Its Way to Being Known as “Saudi Texas”

(San Antonio Express News) The “Lone Star State of Texas” is quickly earning a new moniker: Saudi Texas–Oil production in Texas is soaring so much that production jumped to an average of 2.139 million barrels a day in November, the best showing in more than 25 years.

Analysts are chalking up Texas booming production to shale plays, especially South Texas Eagle Ford Shale which is quite possibly the largest single economic development in the history of the State of Texas and ranks as the single largest oil and gas development in the world.

Oil Analysts are tossing around the words “phenomenal, amazing and unprecedented” when discussing the numbers.

On the 13 March, 2012 I wrote here long gone are the days of any logical person using the Obama Administrations talking points that the United States has only 2% of the world’s oil reserves, yade, yade, yade…

The reality is, the United States currently has 1.142 billion barrels of technically recoverable oil resources and over 200 years worth of oil at current consumption rates.

More Ohio Energy Production Job Losses Announced Since Obama Reelection

(WaPo) After Obama’s reelection, Robert Murray, CEO of Murray Energy an Ohio based coal company, read a prayer to a group of company staff members: “Lord, please forgive me and anyone with me in Murray Energy Corp for the decisions we are forced to make to preserve the very existence of any of the enterprises you have helped us to build.”

Subsequently, Murray announced layoffs of company employees, citing the Obama Administration’s “War on Coal.”

On the 07 October, I wrote here that more than 34 gigawatts of electrical generating capacity are set to retire thanks to Obama’s EPA most of these retirements will come from coal fired power plant closures shuttering over 10% of the U.S. Coal fired generating capacity.

Beijing has waged its harshest crackdown on speech in years, hundreds of Chinese have been arrested, imprisoned, beaten, interrogated, humiliated and put under house arrest.

China has for years guarded against (evil) Western influences, including blocking social media sites as Twitter and Facebook but these restrictions have intensified since the Middle East and Northern Africa revolts began.

The crackdown on freedom of speech and activism continues in China and is largely aimed at the United States another other foreign (evil) influences as China Digital Times reports.

Obama: China Drill There, Baby Drill There

On the 24 March, I wrote here that Our Great Leader Comrade Obama, offered to assist Brazil with “technology and support” in developing its oil reserves and then said, the United States wants to become one one of their best customers.

While Comrade Obama wants to block all domestic oil and gas exploration in West Texas (arguing that its to save a 3″ Lizard) replacing the development of our natural resources with windmills in 2009, Obama signed a cooperation pact with China (which isn’t about to hold up energy production to save either a Lizard or even a Snail Darter) offering to provide American expertise so that China may exploit their shale gas reserves.

In 2004 Congressional Democrats chided the Bush Administration to ease gasoline prices when gas prices were under $2.00 a gallon—In 2006 Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-CA complained, “Since George Bush and Dick Cheney, took over as President and Vice President, gas prices have doubled…They are too cozy with the Oil Industry.”

In 2008, then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-CA blasted President Bush for rising gasoline prices. In April, 2008 Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV echoed Pelosi’s comments claiming that gasoline prices were “the number one issue facing America today.”

Where is the outrage of Democrat-Socialists today?

Since “Hoax-n-Chains” took office in 2009 the price of oil has skyrocketed 117% surging energy prices will soon have a devastating effect on any potential economic recovery as costs for goods and services at all levels will become catastrophic to American Consumers, as prices for everything must rise to offset the costs passed on by business.

Former President of Shell Oil Co John Hofmeister says Americans may be paying $5.00 a gallon for gasoline by 2012

Last week the average price for a gallon of gasoline spiked to more than $3.00 nationally—I’ve been paying much more than that for quite awhile, last week I paid about $3.30 a gallon. Gasoline prices are up 4% from a month ago and 16% from a year ago according to AAA
