(Washington Times) President Obama says that he will renew his push against global warming, global cooling now called climate change beginning with a lecture to Americans tomorrow–Obama finding his options more limited than during his first term has decided to go it alone and legislate by executive order and regulatory authority which he believes that he posses the authority to do.
During the last 5 years, momentum has stalled on the issue, temperatures have leveled globally and Obama’s marquee piece of climate change legislation has all but collapsed in Congress, given the mood of the country and Obama’s falling poll numbers.
According to recent Rasmussen Reports polling the economy remains the single most important issue to Americans in terms of how they will vote in next years Congressional elections–with the environment ranking at the very bottom of the list followed by the war in Afghanistan.
As the economy continues to struggle, scandals plague the White House, Obama returns from Europe after talking down the United States and now is finalizing plans to spend $60 to $100 Million of the taxpayers money on the Obama’s 2013 family vacation to Africa.
Six in Ten Americans give Obama negative approval ratings overall while two-thirds give him negative ratings on the economy, according to the latest Harris Interactive polling released today.
