Democrats Begin to Freak Over ObamaCare Chaos

ObamaCare ChaosObamaCare Chaos –Patriot Update

(The Hill)  Delays in implementation of the so-called “popular” pieces of ObamaCare are hurting Democrats.

Ahead of the 2014 mid-term elections in which Republicans promise to make health care an issue again, Democrats are criticizing the Obama Administration for delaying policies that could maybe build support for the unpopular law.

Democrats this week are complaining about a 1 year delay in a key program allegedly said to help small businesses–a central selling point of ObamaCare that now will not be in place when voters go to the polls next year. Democrats are likewise complaining about other aspects of the law (which had they read the bill before final passage) 33 Democrats cast a non-binding vote last month to repeal ObamaCare’s Tax on medical devices, saying now that its a threat to innovation and will raise costs to consumers.

On the 14 February, I wrote here according to a new survey of major health insurers, representing the vast majority of covered individuals in the United States finds that cost of health insurance premiums for the relatively young and healthy in both small and large markets will increase by 169% next year–ahead of the Congressional elections.

Rising Health Care Premiums

(Washington Guardian) In a new report that could become a political headache for Democrats that saddled us with ObamaCare,  The Society of Actuaries estimated on Tuesday, that insurers will have to pay out an average of 32% more for claims for individuals because of ObamaCare, a cost likely to be passed on to consumers.

Yesterday I wrote here that Health & Human Service Secy Kathleen Sebelius finally admits what many of us knew health care premiums are rising because of President Obama’s chief legislative achievement–ObamaCare.

Senator Ted Cruz: Restore Growth First–Defund ObamaCare

ObamaCare Repeal --Right SpeakObamaCare Repeal –Right Speak

(Red State/Sen Ted Cruz) For the last four years, our economy has grown at just 0.8% per year. As a result of this anemic growth, 23 million Americans are struggling to find work and millions more are being denied a fair opportunity to achieve the American dream.

Economic growth these past four years has been a small fraction of historic levels: Since World War II, our economy has averaged 3.3% growth each year. Until economic growth returns, none of our economic problems can be solved. Improving the lives of the middle class, protecting our seniors, empowering people to escape poverty and reining in the federal debt…all depend on economic growth.

The very first priority of every elected official–Democrat and Republican, should be restoring economic growth, so we can ensure continued strength, prosperity and opportunity for the next generations.

ObamaCare does precisely the opposite. It is already hurting small businesses, reducing the hours Americans are allowed to work, forcing employers to drop coverage and leading to substantial increases in health care premiums especially for young people–and if ObamaCare is fully implemented, it will create an even further drag on the economy, killing jobs and making it harder for those struggling to climb the economic ladder.

In my view, ObamaCare should be fully repealed and I have introduced legislation to do so.

At a minimum, however, it should not be implemented at a time when our economy is struggling so mightily, at a time when its implementation could push us into a full recession.

Therefore, when the Senate votes on the Continuing Resolution, I intend to offer a “Restore Growth First” amendment which will delay funding of ObamaCare. I believe  we should continue to delay such funding at least until economic growth returns to historic averages and I intend to object to consideration of any Continuing Resolution that does not include a vote to delay funding of ObamaCare. Last quarter, our economy grew just 0.1% Getting growth back, getting Americans back to work should be our top priority and we should all roll up our sleeves and work in a bipartisan way to get that done.

(American Action Forum) A new survey of major health insurers, representing the vast majority of covered individuals in the U.S. answers the question of what impact will ObamaCare have on premiums in 2014?

The findings illustrate that sticker shock in healthcare premiums await the relatively young and healthy in both the small group and individual markets–the survey finds that cost of premiums for this group will increase by an average of 169% next year.

Flashback: Remember when President Obama claimed “I will sign a universal healthcare bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical families premium by up to $2,500 a year.”

Yet another broken promise.

Gallup: Scaling Back State Programs Is Least Of Three Evils

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

As Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and other states struggle to reduce untenable budget deficits, a new USA Today/Gallup finds that not one of three major fiscal strategies available to state lawmakers is very popular. The lease objectionable to Americans “is reducing or eliminating certain state programs” with about equal numbers in favor as opposed.

A slight majority 53% opposes reducing pay and benefits to state workers and a larger majority 71% opposes raising taxes.

About two-thirds of Americans 64% perceive their own state is facing a budget crisis based on what they have read or heard—31% remain unsure and 5% state say their state is not.

Additionally the new poll finds Americans opposed to their own state adopting a deficit reduction proposal like the one that has triggered a legislative stand-off in Wisconsin, that would eliminate some of the collective bargaining rights of most public unions—including Teachers Unions. 1/3 of Americans would favor such a bill in their own state while 61% would oppose it.

Sarah Palin Was Correct About ObamaCare Death Panels

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Remember last year when Democrat-Socialists, (Liberal Progressive Kool Aide drinkers that now want to repackage themselves as Center Right) decried former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for writing that ObamaCare Death Panel Charge was 2009 Biggest Lie what has happened since?

ObamaCare bureaucrats have not not ruled out turning away sick people created by the new health care law to provide coverage for the uninsured.

Critics of the $5 Billion Dollar high risk pool insists it will run out of money before 01 January, 2014–that is the date when health plans can no longer deny insurance to persons with pre-existing conditions.

Obama Administration officials insist that they can make changes to the program to ensure it last until 2014 and risks turning away sick people by changing programs, reducing benefits to redistributing funds between state pools.

Sarah Palin was truly far ahead of the goofy loony liberal lefties concerning death panels ObamaCare rationing for all.

Democrat-Socialists Don’t Care What Their Constituents Say

Saturday, March 20th, 2010

Democrat-Socialists continue to ignore public opinion polls that show among other things:

(a) 2/3 of Americans believe that the Democrat-Socialist health spending bill would make things worse; (b) A majority of Americans believe that ObamaCare will make things worse; (c) Only 1/3 see any benefit to middle class families.

In a related poll, ObamaCare will result in 1/3 of Physicians quitting medicine altogether, resulting in doctor shortages, wait lists for patients and health care rationing.

Currently the United States has the best health care in the world, if the Canadian model is so good why did Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams come to the U.S. in early February for heart surgery?
