Health Insurance CancellationsMore and More Americans Losing Their Health Ins –Heritage Foundation

(Washington Examiner) Michigan Democrat Congressional Rep Sander Levin claims that health insurance companies are really not sending out ‘cancellation notices’ to their policy holders but are merely helping people “transition” into ObamaCare.

Riiight…

Tell that to Jennifer Harris of Fullerton, California who was happy with her $98 a month health insurance policy but has received a cancellation notice from Health Net, Inc informing her that her insurance will be canceled at the end of the year because it doesn’t conform to ObamaCare unfunded individual mandate.

Rep Sander Levin may want to ask California resident Deborah Cavallaro what she thinks about her insurance premiums rising $2,304 annually?

Whatever happened to Obama’s pledge to Americans that health insurance premiums will be $2,500 lower under ObamaCare?

(LA Times) Fullerton, CA resident Jennifer Harris, thought she had a great deal paying $98 a month for her health insurance through Health Net Inc until she opened up a letter from the company saying that it will cancel her health insurance policy at the end of the year as it doesn’t conform to ObamaCare’s unfunded federal mandates.

Now Harris, a self employed Attorney must shop for replacement insurance the least expensive policy that she has found will cost her $238 per month–so much for Obama’s repeated promises lies that if you like your health insurance, you can keep it.

Dunny DAta File--ObamaCare

(Washington Examiner) A dummy Java Script file on Healthcare.gov website features characters from Star War’s and Transformers.

What’s up with that?

Dummy javascript files are generally used for testing purposes and are rarely released to a live website–at least the ones set up up “Adult” IT Pro’s.

ObamaCare PropagandaNothing is Free–Someone Has to Pay For It

What they seem to leave out (again) on Monday, CBS News Los Angeles reported that Deborah Cavallaro got a letter from letter from Anthem Blue Cross of California which stated:

“Because of the requirements mandates of the new laws, we can no longer offer your current Anthem policy.” The letter also said that Cavallaro is being offered a new policy and her monthly premium will increase from $292 to $484

If ObamaCare/Covered California is so good, why are they soliciting on Craigslist Los Angeles offering to pay $250.00 for testimonials, “about the positive impact the Affordable Care Act has had on Health, Finances and Piece of Mind for You and Your Family.”

ObamaCare Data Hub

(Inforum) The Obama Administration has asked ‘Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Dakota” not to publicize how many people have signed up for health insurance through the new online exchange, James Nichol, company spokesman said this week.

If ObamaCare was so successful in North Dakota, wouldn’t President Obama be cheering it’s awesome success? I digress.

In related ObamaCare news, The Weekly Standard reports today that some 16 Million of Americans are receiving letters from their insurance carriers saying that they will be losing their current health care coverage as a result of ObamaCare’s new health care mandates.

California Workers Comp Rates May Rise 9.5% in January, How is ObamaCare Bending the Insurance Cost Curve Downward?

(San Francisco Business Times) The California Workers Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) is considering recommending a 9.5% rate increase to the  California Dept of Insurance a jump over its earlier 7.6% earlier recommendation.

Remember when President Obama promised that his health care overall would “bend the cost curve and start actually reducing health care costs…”

Should the WCIRB governing committee follow the new recommendations, many California employers are likely to face steeper worker’s compensation rates come January which they will be forced to pass on to consumers or layoff employees to pay for.

How is ObamaCare in California, bending the insurance cost curve and reducing health care costs?

SEIU Columbus OhioColumbus, Ohio SEIU Members On Strike Over Cuts as a Result of  ObamaCare –Image: Media Trackers Ohio

(Washington Examiner) Members of the Chicago based ‘Service Employees Intl Union’ (SEIU) Local 1, have gone on-strike over recent job cuts by janitorial company “Professional Maintenance.”

Tyler French SEIU Local 1 Organizing Director told Media Trackers Ohio the company said they had to cut their employees hours due to ObamaCare mandates.

French did not believe ‘Professional Maintenance’ explanation saying, “I think the health care act is the latest excuse that corporations are using to try and save money.”

Other unions have been warning that such actions will be a direct consequence of President Obama’s health care law.

On the 12th July, The Wall Street Journal published a scathing letter from Teamsters President James P Hoffa, Joseph Hansen, Intl President UFCW and D. Taylor, President Unite-Here, to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) reminding them that they have been strong supporters for Democrats “In campaign after campaign,” adding that unless changes are made to ObamaCare it “will destroy the foundation of the 40 hour work week that is the back bone of the American middle class.”

If that’s not bad enough the Affordable Unaffordable Care Act if not modified will “destroy the very health and well being of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans,” the Teamsters wrote.
