(Gateway Pundit) Employees at Serco Group in Wentzville, Missouri (outside St Louis) told reporters this week that they are being paid to do nothing.
Seroc Group being paid by the federal government (taxpayers) to process ObamaCare paper applications, say they are just sitting at their desks most of the day.
“There are some weeks that a data entry person would not process an application…They’re told to sit at their computers and hit the refresh button every 10 minutes.”
Serco Group holds itself out as a leading provider of professional technology and management services focused on the federal government.

Virginia First State to Release ObamaCare 2015 Premium Rate Proposals

Team Obama Pledged: If You Like Your Health Care You Can Keep It and Promised to Lower Annual Health Insurance Premiums by $2500.00
(WSJ) Virginia residents will realize increased health insurance premiums next year ranging from 3.3% to 14.9% according to filings from the first state to release information on ObamaCare rate hikes.
The premium proposals were submitted to Virginia’s state insurance department for official approval and made public today–each health care plan expects to increase their prices in 2015 past nominal increases for inflation.
Care First Blue Choice which offers health insurance coverage to 32,000 customers has proposed the sharpest increase in premiums of 14.9%
Its likely that younger and healthier consumers will be hit with the largest premium increases due to ObamaCare’s rule banning insurers from charging higher premiums to typically older and sicker customers who use more health care services.

California Congressional Rep Barbara Lee, are we still on-track for them 8.8 Million new jobs by 2017??? On Friday I wrote here that according to the Dept of Labor–Bureau of Labor Statistics, Obamanomics liberated 806,000 from the workforce in April.
(Daily Caller) Rep Barbara Lee has expressed support for a $26.00 minimum wage for California–Is that sufficient? If $26.00 is good why not $50.00 or maybe $100.00 an hour would even better?
In 2012 CATO Institute discussed the ‘Negative Effects of Minimum Wage Laws’ making an excellent point:
While the (minimum wage) aim is to help workers, decades of economic research show that minimum wages usually end up harming workers and the broader economy–If the government requires that certain workers be paid higher wages, then businesses make adjustments to pay for the added costs, such as reducing hiring, cutting employee work hours, reducing benefits, charging higher prices.
Some policymakers may believe that companies simply absorb the costs of minimum wage increases through reduced profits but thats rarely the case. Instead businesses rationally respond to such mandates by cutting employment and making other decision to maintain their net earnings. These behavioral responses usually offset the positive labor market results that policymakers are hoping for.

(WaPo) Democrats face serious obstacles as they look to November elections–Obama’s approval rating is at a new low (41% down from 46% through the first 3 months of this year) and a majority of Americans surveyed are saying they prefer a Congress in Republican hands.
Just 42% approve of Obama’s handling of the economy–only 37% approve of his handling of ObamaCare–Americans continue to give Obama a failing grade of 34% for his handling of the crisis in Ukraine and Russia.

(YouGov) In a new YouGov/Economist poll released on Monday, 65% of respondents surveyed ‘have not’ even attempted to visit an ObamaCare website, 31% said they have, 4% were unsure.
These results call into question the dubious 7 million ObamaCare enrollees which the White House claims is evidence that the ACA has met its goal.
In related health care news Newsmax reported on Monday, ObamaCare patients who go to a doctor for their ‘supposedly’ free annual check-ups are finding out they may not be as ‘free’ as one was told.
“Patients are scheduling physicals because physicals are free,” Dr Randy Wexler in Columbus, OH said, “They come in and say, ‘I’ve been having headaches, my back has been bothering me and I am depressed,” that’s not part of the physical. That will trigger a co-pay.”
Wellness care on potential new health issues are viewed as ‘evaluation and monitoring’ and leads to patients having to fork out for their so called ‘free’ annual physicals.

(FOX News) A recent survey of 148 insurance brokers shows that health insurance premiums are seeing their sharpest price increase perhaps ever and are largely due to changes mandated by ObamaCare.
For the individual insurance market seeing the sharpest increases in prices:
- Delaware is up 100%
- New Hampshire 90%
- Indiana 54%
- California 53%
- Connecticut 45%
- Michigan 36%
For the small group market seeing the sharpest increases in prices:
- Washington 588%
- Pennsylvania 66%
- California 37%
- Indiana 34%
- Kentucky 30%
Flashback: Gone are the days when Obama claimed that health insurance premiums for a family would be $2,500 lower by the end of his first term, they were already actually about $3,000 higher according to The Wall Street Journal in January, 2013 a spread of $5,500 per family.
Another Obama broken promise.

HHS Secy Kathleen Sebelius Resigns, Don’t Let the Door Hit You on Your Way Out

(NY Times) Embattled HHS Secy Kathleen Sebelius has resigned, ending a tumultuous 5 year tenure marred by her admitted management failure and overseeing the destruction of the best health care system in the world, to replace it with ObamaCare, which a large majority of Americans do not support.
In March, the AP reported that only 26% of Americans support ObamaCare.
Thanks for nothing Ms Sebelius, don’t let the door hit you on your way out.

ObamaCare we were told was designed to insure the uninsured and not just reinsure the 6.2 Million+ Americans who previously had health insurance but whose policies were canceled because they didn’t meet the federal govt mandates for insurance coverage.
Covered California allegedly 3 Million enrollments are actually quite dismal when put into perspective.
