(National Review) Ooops…The information technology (payment) systems of ObamaCare are still anywhere from 60 to 70% unfinished according to Henry Chao, Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, who testified at a Congressional Hearing today.
After spending wasting some $634 Million over the past 3.5 years on an unfinished website the Obama Administration rolled out ObamaCare with great fan fare on the 01 October with 60 to 70% of Healthcare.gov not even built yet.

(Daily Mail) President Obama told an audience of ‘Organizing for Action’ disciples in a conference call on Monday:
“In the first month alone, we’ve seen more than 100 million Americans already successfully enroll in the new insurance plans.”
Excuse me Mr President, Sir–only 106,185 Americans have made it all the way through your crippled ObamaCare website selecting many times, an inferior health care plan than they previously had which now costs more.
Giving Obama the benefit of the doubt, it maybe those 100 Million people did sign up for his Affordable Unaffordable Care Act on whatever parallel universe that Obama lives, on the “Internate” in those 57 States where President Obama resides?

(FOX News) While millions are watching their individual health insurance plans get canceled due to ObamaCare mandates, the new health care rules are also having a major impact on college campuses.
For decades, colleges and universities offered bare-boned health insurance plans but because of ObamaCare, those policies no longer cut it–colleges and universities are being forced to decide whether to offer significantly higher cost health insurance or cancel coverage all together.
At Bowie State University in Maryland, the cost of student health care plans went from roughly $100 annually to $1,800 annually thanks to Obama’s Affordable Unaffordable Care Act.
The sticker shock didn’t sit well with some students at Bowie State Univ who spoke to Campus Reform about ObamaCare price spikes:
- “We don’t have that money…We can barely afford to buy books.”
- Another said, “Its stupid and it’s Obama’s fault…You haven’t done anything Obama and I’m disappointed in you.”
- “What it was hyped up to be was that it was supposed to solve a lot of problems and help a lot of people and its not really doing that,” said another.
Its been a similar story across the country.

(89.3 KPCC) 7 California Democrats ran-away from ObamaCare and voted with House Republicans on Friday that would allow Americans to keep for one year their health insurance plans that do no comply with President Obama’s signature legislative achievement.
The defections of 39 House Democrats breaking ranks with President Obama has highlighted the pressure on Congress to help the 4 million+ policy holders nationwide that had their health insurance canceled because of ObamaCare mandates.
Nationwide according to the Obama Administration this week only 106,185 Americans were able to make it all the way through the broken ObamaCare website selecting a health insurance plan–this number may actually be smaller if it only counted Americans finalized their enrollments by actually paying their first months premium.

(ATR) According to data compiled by Americans for Tax Reform the Obama Administration has spent $4.4 Billion of taxpayers money on state ObamaCare websites $910,605,370.00 in California alone which has seen more than 1 Million health insurance cancellations and a mere 35,000 sign-ups for ObamaCare/Covered California.
Twelve weeks from today on the 07 February, 2014 Breitbart News reports the U.S. Govt will hit its borrowing authority. When Congress lifted the debt ceiling last month, for the first time ever, it pegged the increase to a specific date rather than a dollar amount the current federal deficit today is $17.1Trillion which is contributing to our anemic economy, a record low worker participation rate and rattling Consumer confidence heading into the busiest shopping season of the year, a ‘make or break time’ for many business.
According to Zero Hedge Americans plan on spending 10% less for Christmas gifts this year than last year. During Obama’s Watch, Americans are spending on average 19% less than they spent in 2007 and 18% less than they did in 1999 The last two times the November forecast for holiday spending slumped, the U.S. entered into a recession.

(NewsBusters) Has President Obama now lost Piers Morgan?
Consider this Tweet the Liberal Lefty CNN host sent out on Wednesday saying:
“Considerably more Americans signed a petition to have me deported, than enrolled in ObamaCare. I’d start panicking Mr. President.”
For those who may have forgotten, on Christmas Eve 2012 Piers Morgan went on a rant about the bible and Christianity arguing that there needs to be “an amendment to the Bible” for Gay marriage because like the Constitution, the bible is inherently flawed.
Later in December disgraced former Editor of The Daily Mirror Morgan continued his anti-2nd Amendment rants adding that unless its amended, he may voluntarily leave the United States for greener pastures elsewhere. Shoot he’s still here–I digress.
Last year an online petition at White House.gov was being circulated calling for Morgan’s deportation, it now has 109,334 signatures.
The combined enrollment in ObamaCare via the federal and state exchanges is 106,185

(Heritage Foundation) President Obama has told ObamaCare critics that the law is settled and here to stay but today, the Obama is saying that to fix the Democrat health care law, he must violate the very spirit of the law and put a band-aid on it until after the 2014 elections–that in addition to the one year delay of the employer mandate, generous subsidies for Members of Congress and numerous other “fixes” and delays.
President Obama announcing his latest so called “fix” today to the problem of millions of canceled insurance policies that his health care created, would not change the law at all but by ‘executive fiat’ would now allow people to keep the insurance plans which the Obama Administration has been claiming are ‘substandard’ through 2014 (if not already canceled to comply with ObamaCare mandates) to give Democrats political cover ahead of next years election.
America’s Health Insurance Plans President/CEO Karen Ignagni said in a statement released today after President Obama’s news conference:
Making sure consumers have secure, affordable coverage is ‘health plans’ top priority, The only only reasons consumers are getting notices about their current coverage changing is because the (Affordable Care Act) ACA requires all policies to cover a broad range of benefits that go beyond what many people choose to purchase today.
Changing the rules after health plans have already met the requirements of the law could destabilize the market and result in higher premiums for consumers. Premiums have already been set for next year based on an assumption of when consumers will be transitioning to the new marketplace. If due to these changes fewer younger and healthier people choose to purchase coverage in the exchange, premiums will increase in the marketplace and there will be fewer choices for consumers. Additional steps must be taken to stabilize the marketplace and mitigate the adverse impact on consumers.
President Obama’s so called latest “fix” to ObamaCare underscores the real problems of a “confusing” health care law as Sen Tom Caper (D-DE) called it that was rammed through Congress without a single Republican vote in the dead of night which nobody had a chance to read.
