President Obama pays tribute to Oprah Winfrey in December
Oprah’s new cable network (following her takeover of Discovery Health) viewership has declined significantly–while OWN premiere averaged one million viewers, Sunday fell to 822,000, Monday to 394,000 and by Tuesday viewership fell to 315,000
Following heavy curiosity tune-in for a network targeting Women ages 25-54 OWN went from an opening night rating of 0.6 to 0.2 at the start of the new week.
