(Breitbart) Strobridge Elementary School Principal Charles Hill (with a little too much time on his hands) believes that he had a brilliant idea scheduling what may have been the first in the nation “Toy Gun” exchange last Saturday, claiming that toy guns desensitizes children to the real ones.
Students at the San Francisco Bay area school indoctrination center, that turned in their oh so dangerous squirt guns received a book and a raffle ticket for the chance to win one of 4 bicycles.
What if any harm has Hill in the alternative exposed children to, by holding a school raffle and desensitizing children to the dangers of gambling?

(Jerusalem Post) A 10th grade Albany, NY teacher who gave her students an assignment pretending to be Jew hating Nazi’s has been suspended.
The idiot teacher that hasn’t been identified by school officials, gave multiple writing assignments to students, asking them to describe ‘Why they would hate the Jews if they lived in the Third Reich?’ The assignments followed numerous classes focusing on Nazi propaganda with students, asking them to imagine their teacher as a Nazi official.
“You need to pretend that I am a member of the government in Nazi Germany and you are being challenged to consider that you are loyal to the Nazi’s by writing an essay convincing me that Jews are evil and the source of our problems.”
Albany’s Public School Superintendent Marguuerite Vanden-Wyngaard, only issued an apology after a local news reporter published the high school teacher’s assignment and presented it to local officials.

(FOX News) The Father of a Connecticut child is furious after discovering that his Son’s school is teaching children, “The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms–The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of guns unconstitutional,” from a worksheet entitled: The Second Amendment Today.
Wrong on both points in light of District of Columbia-v-Heller (2008) Case No. 07-290 which held “The Second Amendment protects an individual right to posses a firearm…and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home–In sum, we hold the District’s ban on handgun possession in the home violates the Second Amendment as does its prohibition against rendering any lawful firearm in the home operable for the purpose of immediate self defense.”

(WNEM TV/Saginaw) OMG They’re losing their minds…A 3rd grader who took 30 chocolate cupcakes to school to share with his classmates to celebrate his 9th birthday, was told topping them with WW II era toy soldiers was “insensitive” considering recent gun related tragedies, specifically the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

(FOX News) There is nothing more special to a child on Valentines Day than being able to deliver to their friends and classmates cute little cards wishing one another “Happy Valentines Day” but left up to snooty loony liberal lefties, these days of joy, kindness and fun are somehow dangerous to a student’s well being and must be forbidden to protect the child from her/himself because public school indoctrination centers in their infinite wisdom seem to think they know whats better for a child’s well being than their parents.
Girls & Boys at Salemwood Elementary School in Malden, Massachusetts according to Malden Patch, have reportedly been banned from sharing Valentines Day cards and candy over “cultural and equality issues” and the strong arm of federal do-gooders guidelines regulating candy.
This didn’t sit well with at least one parent who wrote an anonymous letter to school administrators and the media this week saying, “I have a Son that attends Salemwood School, I have been made aware that there’s to be no celebrations of any kind at Salemwood because of its diversity. This includes birthdays and non-religious holidays such as Valentines Day–My Son is DEVASTATED! He loves giving cards to his friends…”
When was the First Amendment repealed?
It is well established, “…neither students or teachers shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the school house gate….” See, Tinker-v-Des Moines School District 393 US 503
Accordingly, “In order for the state in the person of school officials to justify the prohibition of a particular expression of opinion, it must be able to ‘show that its action was caused by something more than a mere desire to avoid the discomfort and unpleasantness…’ (emphasis added) that always accompany an unpopular viewpoint. Parents and not overly excitable wannabe politically correct school officials, should be deciding whether or not they wish to have their children express themselves with Valentines, Birthday cards and well wishes. The taxpayers would be better served if public school districts would instead focus on their original mandate of teaching the “3 R’s” Reading, Writing & Arithmetic than the dumbing down even further of the nations school children to become nothing more than mindless, state confirming puppets, that don’t know how to think or behave for themselves.
