(Natl Review) President Obama assured himself of a warm reception from the audience attending his 1 hour+ lecture at the Univ of Central Missouri on Wednesday–because some students that disagreed with him were not allowed into the building.

Christopher White of The College Fix reports that students wearing “Tea Party T-Shirts and other who wore patriotic or Republican styled clothing,” were turned away at the door under the guise of ‘security concerns” despite the fact that they had tickets to the event.

Suggestion to College Republicans who hope to attend an Obama speech in the future: Odds of admission improve if one wears a Che Guevara T-Shirt, an “I Heart Kim Jong-un,” or a cheesy Team Obama campaign pin or ball cap.

(Weekly Standard) Congress is preparing to take bipartisan action to raise even more taxes this year. This latest tax gimmick would raise impose a federal tax on Americans that take a preventive flu vaccine.

Along with taxes on other vaccines this ~~tax~~ money grab from Washington would allegedly find the Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund a “no-fault” compensation fund to resolve torts of persons that have been injured by certain vaccines.

How long would it be before this new fund is raided by politicians and bureaucrats to pay for projects other than what this latest new tax is said to be designated for?

(The Blaze) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted out a picture of President Obama’s latest 828 pages of new ObamaCare Regs printed and stacked up on Monday–On the 01 March, I wrote here about 700 pages of ObamaCare Regs that the Dept of Health & Human Services dumped on Americans earlier this month and they’re just getting started.

Three Congressional House committees in February, added up the total number of hours that burdensome ObamaCare regulations will cost Americans, The Heritage Foundation reported–including 157 different rules and regulations that make up over 127 million hours of paperwork annually.

McClatchy-Marist Poll: More Voters Prefer Congressional Republicans Over Obama on Budget

(McClatchy-Marist) If President Obama piled up political capital with his reelection, it mostly gone.

Obama’s approval rating has dropped to the lowest level in more than a year, with more voters turning thumbs down on his performance–the measure of how much people like him has also dropped.

Though he is still more vastly popular than Congress but in the biggest clash of the year over the federal budget and how to curb deficits, voters split 44% to 42% between preferring Congress or Campaigner-in-Chief Barack Obama–Just 34% of voters think the country is headed in the right direction while 62% say that its headed in the wrong direction–that is also the worst since November 2011

44% to 42% of voters say they prefer the Republican approach to curbing the out of control $16.685 Trillion federal deficit.

(RT News) Early in 2014, the Hispanic population in California will become the plurality in the state for the first time since California became a state according to a report issued by the Dept of Finance late last month.

Nationwide Hispanics are the fast growing demographic and according to the report the Hispanic population in California will be even with the number of non-Hispanic Whites by the middle of this year.

On the 08 June, 2012 I wrote here that the large influx of Asian & Latino immigrants into Southern California in the past 50 years has resulted in less crime, lower joblessness and more stable property values according to a study by the University of California Irvine last year.

(Crony Chronicles) Popcorn is a great snack (that I frequently indulge) many Americans seem to agree since the average consumption of popcorn was 52 quarts per person in 2011

One wouldn’t think that the popcorn industry given the annual consumption of popcorn by Americans, would need any other help from the taxpayers in marketing their product but never the less, Congress in its infinite wisdom, authorizes spending to promote this popular snack food despite our out of control $16.4 Trillion+ federal deficit during Obama’s Watch.
