(FOX News) Reuniting with 75 of his minions and top-donors Obama tonight told his Organizing For ~~Action~~ Access (OFA) groupies that remain disillusioned subsequent to his campaign, that they can play an equally powerful role in helping his ambitious second-term agenda of creating a European style socialist nation come to fruition.

Addressing the fledgling group for the first time since his reelection, Obama sought to temper concerns among Republicans and good governance groups that question whether OFA was actually being used to help Democrat/Progressive-Socialists, recapture the House in 2014

Obama told OFA attendees, “I actually just want to govern–at least for a couple of years…” Riiight–between his perpetual campaigning, vacations and golf outings, when is Obama going to find the time to fill out his NCAA brackets?

(Cal Watchdog) Add infringement of the Second Amendment “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed,” to a severe anti-business climate as yet another reason families are exiting California.

The Democrat-Socialist/Progressive Super Majority in Sacramento, are advancing ten bills that will almost certainly pass and be signed into law by Gov Jerry Brown—Hypocritically, Gov Brown and the State Legislator are protected by armed State Troopers but you’re not as important to them (except during election time) to be able to defend yourself in your home against sexual predators, murderers and burglars.

(Daily Caller) Commonwealth Fund, a Progressive/Socialist organization that helped to lay the groundwork for ObamaCare, is sponsoring a two day symposium hosted by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) in NYC to “offer specialized education in healthcare reporting” for the dinosaur media.

“The goal over two days will be to introduce fellows to experts in the field and explore ways to improve coverage of the issue,” according to an announcement on SABEW website.

(Politico) A new report prepared by the Natl Intelligence Council of the Office of the Director of Natl Intelligence, projects that the United States will no longer be the sole superpower by 2030 as a result of our economic decline, consequence of the United States withdrawal from the world stage and sudden retreat of U.S. power from among other things will result in an “extended period of global anarchy” which some would argue has rapidly escalated since the election of Barack Obama as president.

ObamaCore: The Bid to Control Education

(National Review–The Corner) President Obama’s bid now to control what children learn in school is surely one of the most important and disturbing of his many transformative plans–Not only is Obama’s attempt to devise what is in effect, a national K-12 school curriculum is arguably unconstitutional and the fact, that many Americans have no idea that the new “Common Core” (A/K/A: ObamaCore) even exists, may be the most troubling thing about it.

Sunday’s (02 December) Washington Post featured an article on the controversy being kicked up by the new English curriculum that 46 states and the District of Columbia are just now waking up to.

Not coincidentally, this new education war is hitting a month subsequent to Obama’s reelection, just in time to prevent the public from taking the most effective step it could have to block the changes. One has to get nearly to the end of the WaPo article, even to get a hint of the fact that the Obama Administration is the real force behind the new curriculum.

(The Hill) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-KY today offered an amendment to force a vote on Obama’s ridiculous deficit reduction plan but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV raised an objection to the amendment, thus removing it from consideration.

Why didn’t Democrats want to vote on Obama’s plan?

Sen. Reid knew that Obama’s plan wouldn’t even get enough votes in the Democrat controlled Senate, just as Obama’s 2012 Budget proposal was rejected in the Senate by a vote of 99 to 0 and in the House of Representatives 414 to 0
