Lois Lerner While at IRS, Solicited Job at Offshoot of ‘Team Obama’ Political Organization OFA Potentially in Violation of the “Hatch Act”

(WSJ) Former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner, accused of corrupt activities by the ‘House Ways & Means Committee’ for targeting Tea Party & Conservatives groups, appeared to show no particular interest in cracking down on liberal groups seeking to operate as 501(c)(4) organizations or her own potential violations of the Hatch Act which among other things, prohibits federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity on government time.

While still employed at the IRS, Ms Lerner, sent a colleague an email during business hours, soliciting employment for herself at the Washington, DC office of an offshoot of ‘Team Obama’s–OFA’ a 501(c)(4) tax exempt organization mobilized of Obama supporters, first organized in 2009 as ‘Organizing for America’ (it changed its name in 2013 to Organizing for Action) to continue championing the Obama Administration’s legislative agenda.

In February, on Super Bowl Sunday during an interview with FOX News Bill O’Reilly, President Obama claimed that Congress has investigated the IRS controversies and didn’t find any evidence of illegal activity, adding that there is “not even a smidgen of corruption,” in the IRS.

(Washington Times) As the IRS faces growing heat over Lois Lerner’s alleged corrupt activities and targeting of Tea Party and Conservative groups, a government watchdog said today, that its pursuing cases against three IRS employees and offices suspected of illegal political activity in support of President Obama and Democrats.

In one case, the ‘Office of Special Counsel’ which investigates federal employees who engage in political activity on government time said that it was “commonplace” in a Dallas IRS office for employees to have pro-Obama screensavers on their computers and to have campaign style buttons and stickers in their office.

In another case, a worker at the tax agency customer help line urged taxpayers “to reelect Obama in 2012 by repeatedly reciting a chant based on the spelling of his last name,” the Office of Special Counsel said in a statement.

Another IRS employee in Kentucky has agreed to serve a 14 day suspension for basting Republicans in a conversation with a taxpayer.

On Super Bowl Sunday, President Obama told FOX News Bill O’Reilly that there is “not even a smidgen of corruption” at the IRS.

Obama Claimed to Be Against Delay of the “Individual Mandate” Before Supporting It

(Wall Street Journal) Nearly 2 years ago, President Obama’s solicitor General told Supreme Ct Justices, that without the individual mandate ObamaCare would self-destruct.

The latest ObamaCare political reconstruction that has received little attention from the dinosaur media which HHS Secy Kathleen Sebelius in testimony on Wednesday before a Congressional committee said that there would be no delays in the individual mandate–this turned out to be a lie.

Buried deep inside a technical bulletin released on 05 March, includes a paragraph and a footnote that casually mentions that a rule in a separate December, 2013 bulletin would be extended for two years until 2016 Lo and behold, it turns out this second rule published on 19 December, that was only to last 1 year, allows Americans whose health insurance policies were canceled to opt out of the individual mandate altogether.

In September, Obama claimed an “extreme faction” (Tea Party Conservatives) of Republicans are willing to risk an economic calamity when the House GOP was seeking just a 1 year delay of ObamaCare’s individual mandate.

So much for all of the fear mongering by Obama and Democrats about Tea Party Conservatives, the ‘doom and gloom’ rhetoric about delaying the implementation of ObamaCare ahead of its meltdown.

(Daily Caller) While President Obama (lies again) claiming that Republican efforts to tie a debt ceiling increase to GOP budget priorities have “never been seen in the history of the country” Democrats have consistently battled debt ceiling increases when Republican president’s were in office.

On the 19 September, I wrote here that Obama claimed, “raising the debt ceiling which has been done over a hundred times does not increase our debt.”

I own an overpass over the 405 its for sale cheap, just in case President Obama is interested? I digress.

Flashback: Remember in 2008 while campaigning for President, then Sen Barack Obama assailed President Bush calling him “unpatriotic” for adding $4 Trillion to the national debt in 8 years as President.

Its taken Obama just 39 months to run up a $5 Trillion debt and now he has the audacity to claim, the nearly nearly $17 Trillion federal budget deficit is not a debt crisis. How “unpatriotic” is that?

Does Obama think, that we’re stupid?

(Natl Review) President Obama assured himself of a warm reception from the audience attending his 1 hour+ lecture at the Univ of Central Missouri on Wednesday–because some students that disagreed with him were not allowed into the building.

Christopher White of The College Fix reports that students wearing “Tea Party T-Shirts and other who wore patriotic or Republican styled clothing,” were turned away at the door under the guise of ‘security concerns” despite the fact that they had tickets to the event.

Suggestion to College Republicans who hope to attend an Obama speech in the future: Odds of admission improve if one wears a Che Guevara T-Shirt, an “I Heart Kim Jong-un,” or a cheesy Team Obama campaign pin or ball cap.
