Excuses, Excuses and More Excuses–Obama Blames Voters For Not Understanding

Democrats were dumped due to their economic missteps and failures–What voters seem to care most about is economic recovery and returning people to work.

Limiting the size of government and reducing spending are never easy, in 1994 when the GOP took over Congress they promised to eliminate some 90 superfluous federal agencies but by 2000 those agencies were still in place and most had seen their budgets doubled.

Republicans are on Probation and they too may be booted out of office in 2012 if they lose their way by compromising on Conservative principles and not keep their promises made.

Democrats Have No Strategy To Win In November—None

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

Obama’s plan for victory in November more of the same—Wealth Redistribution

September is drawing to a close and its incredibly, amazingly clear that the Democratic Party has no strategy for winning the midterm Congressional elections. Instead the national leadership lurches from one improvisation to another, while local campaigns scramble to find garbage they can dig up on their opponents in hopes that these negative ads will suffice even though they have no message.

To the extent that Democrats address the Obama agenda at all, its to distance themselves from it, heralding their votes against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV and Obama, as badges of independence and honor. Nobody is out there saying that the Stimulus is working or that ObamaCare is good, that the economy is recovering or that they wish we had Cap-n-Trade. The legislative agenda of the Obama Administration is an orphan while dissent has a thousand fathers.

Symptomatic of the absence of a national Democratic message, was Obama’s orchestrated criticism of House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-OH as a tool of the lobbyists last week, while this week the Democrats accuses the Republican Party of having been captured by the Tea Party (Taxed Enough Already) one can not be a tool of monied special interests and in the grip of outraged revolutionaries. One or the other.

Tea Party Takeover Of The Republican Party, Not A Bad Idea Joe

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

VP Joe Biden, campaigning yesterday at the University of Akron for Ohio Governor Ted Strickland who has fallen 17 points behind Republican John Kasich, said that the alternative to Democratic control of Congress is the Republican Tea Party.

The Vice President seeking to link the GOP to the Tea Party a coalition of Conservative activists who’ve boosted a new crop of candidates challenging Democrat-Socialists in the November elections.

Conservatives making up the Tea Party an acronym for Taxed Enough Already were first organized following Rick Santelli’s criticisms of the Obama Administration’s Mortgage Bailout scheme from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Obama Administration USDA Official Admits To Racism

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

NAACP Officials have accused “Tea Party Activists” of racism demanding that organizers of the grass-roots movement “repudiate” alleged bigoted comments by unknown persons.

Last week the self-righteous NAACP even passed a Tea Party Racism Resolution at its 101st annual convention, condemning the unsubstantiated allegations of bigotry in their lame attempts to appear a relevant civil rights organization.

Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones:

Obama’s USDA Georgia Official Shirley Sherrord told an NAACP audience how she refused help to a white farmer facing bankruptcy to save his farm because so many black families lost their farmland—Sherrod describes to NAACP members how she determined the fate of the white farmer to the roars of laughter by NAACP members at  their 20th annual NAACP Freedom Fund banquet in March.

Four months later and only after news reports of the blatant acts of discrimination surfaced and Sherrod resigned from the USDA did the NAACP apologize for the racist comments made during their Georgia fund raising banquet.

The NAACP Descent—The Glory Days Are Long Gone

Friday, July 16th, 2010

The NAACP’s decision to condemn “racist”  elements within the Tea Party movement is about as surprising as the United Nations Human Rights Council voting to condemn Israel, still there is a difference. The U.N. Human Rights Council, never had any moral authority to lose. The NAACP did.

The NAACP was formed on the centennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday in 1909 in a small New York apartment, “The Call” proclaimed the organizations mission:

If Mr. Lincoln, could revisit the country in the flesh he would be disheartened and discouraged, he would learn that on 01 January, 1909 Georgia had rounded out a new Confederacy by disfranchising  the Negro, after the manner of, all the other Southern states…Added to this the spread the lawless attacks upon the Negro, the North, South and West—even in the Springfield made famous by Lincoln—often accompanied  by revolting brutalities , sparing neither sex nor age nor youth, could but the author of the sentiment that “government of the people, by the people, for the people, should not punish the earth.”
