(Breitbart) Former President George W. Bush now has a higher favorable rating 49% compared to Barack Obama, with a job approval rating of only 47% according to a new Gallup daily tracking poll.

(FOX News) Americans are learning this morning that none of us are safe from the unlawful eavesdropping of a far reaching NSA/FISA Court Order, permitting widespread collection of phone records from millions of Verizon customers throughout the U.S. according to a secret order obtained by The Guardian.
In 2008 the Foreign Intelligence Amendments Act (FAA) reauthorized amendments of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) that created a ‘Secret Court’ to review wiretap applications for national security investigations conducted in the United States that involve foreign powers and/or their agents.
The original FAA enacted into law in 2008 were said to address the problem by allowing a “FISA Secret Court” to streamline approval for surveillance if suspected foreign state and terrorist agents without requiring an individual application for each target–so as long the government ‘reasonably believed’ the targets are located outside the United States, individual warrants however were still necessary (at least we still believed that the 4th Amendment was still controlling authority) if the target is a U.S. Citizen regardless where she/he is located and even if the government may believe that she/he were acting as a foreign agent.
Now we learn during Obama’s Watch, not even the Constitution, which was to limit government will get in their way from conducting round the clock surveillance, targeting millions of Verizon Customers in the United States without probable cause of anything.

(CBS News) Today we learned that more of our freedoms are under attack by the very federal employees that have taken an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States.
According to a Dept of Homeland Security report, U.S. Border Agents have been instructed they should continue to search a travelers laptop, cell phone and/or any other electronic device and maintain copies of such data based on nothing more than a hunch.
When was the 4th Amendment repealed, which prohibits the intrusion and seizure by government agents of persons, houses, papers and personal effects without a warrant?
On the 30 May, I wrote here that Sen Ted Cruz, (R-TX) criticized the Obama Administration of not respecting the “Bill of Rights.”
Today we’ve learned how quickly Americans freedoms are being taken away by government central planners during Obama’s Watch, without as much as a whimper by most people.

(Washington Examiner) On FOX News today, Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that President Obama should ask for Atty General Eric Holder’s resignation. “Yes. Absolutely,” after he was asked by Megyn Kelly if Obama should ask for Holder’s resignation.
Cruz cited the “unprecedented” investigations of reporters from AP & FOX News James Rosen and Holder’s response to the “Fast & Furious” scandal as examples of the Dept of Justice disregarding the law.
“Unfortunately, I think its part and parcel of a pattern from this administration of not respecting the Bill of Rights, Cruz added. “Not respecting the First Amendment, not respecting the Second Amendment, not respecting our Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights regarding drone strikes, regarding the IRS.”
Sen Cruz added that it was a disturbing pattern of behavior from the White House.

(Politicker) In the wake of the Boston Jihad Bombings, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg whose been advocating to infringe on American liberties said yesterday, the country’s interpretation of the Constitution will “have to change” to allow for greater security (a Police State) to stave off future terrorists attacks.
“The people who are worried about privacy have a legitimate worry…we live in a complex world, where you’re going to have to have a level of security greater than you did back in the olden days, if you will and our laws and our interpretation of the Constitution , I think, have to change,” said Nanny State NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg during a press conference yesterday.
“Look, we live in a very dangerous world. We know there are people who want to take away our freedoms…” added Bloomberg.

During Obama’s Watch, the strong-arm of the federal government has determined that neither the 1st Amendment nor the 2nd Amendment now the 4th Amendment and the 5th Amendment applies to federal authority.
What can be more chilling to the survival of our Constitutional Republic than an erosion of our civil liberties?
