California Mom Sues McDonald’s To Stop Forcing Her To Buy Happy Meals

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

A Goofy California Mother of two and the Center for Science in the Public Interest have filed suit against McDonald’s Corp to get the fast food giant to stop using toys to market meals to young children.

The Plaintiff’s claim that McDonald’s is violating Consumer Protection Laws by marketing Happy Meals directly to Children because it exploits Children’s vulnerabilities.

Monet Parham filed suit in San Francisco yesterday and have asked that the Court certify the case as a Class Action, “For the sake of other parents and their children, I want McDonald’s to stop interfering with my family,” said Parham.

Whatever happened in just saying, “No, Maybe some other time” when a child wants to go to McDonald’s, it works well, I do it myself from time-to-time.

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-MO: TSA Groping Just “Love Pats”

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

Senator Claire McCaskil, D-MO says that sexually assaulting passengers are just “love pats.”

TSA Airport Screeners have no shame and not only should they be criminally charged for sexually assaulting passengers but its time for Congress to do their job and provide oversight to this controversial agency or in the alternative repeal the 2001 legislation which created the TSA—Should President Obama be unwilling to defend the Constitutional Rights of Americans, Congress should consider defunding the TSA and start over.

Despite a deluge of complaints over the intrusiveness of TSA Airport Screening Procedures, the Obama Administration has chosen to disregard protecting the Civil Rights of Americans and has permitted the TSA to chip away at the 4th Amendment which guarantees that persons and their property shall be secured against unreasonable search and seizure by the government.

DHS Chief Napolitano: Military to Aid Civilian Cybersecurity

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) Chief Janet Napolitano has confirmed that Super Secret Spooks from the Dept of Defense—Natl Security Agency (NSA) will be engaging in joint operations with DHS to aid in domestic civilian cybersecurity matters—sounds a heck of a lot like spying on Americans?

Napolitano assured privacy advocates that DHS is very cognizant about privacy and civil liberties issues, claiming that it has incorporated into the agreement between DHS & NSA a memoranda requiring safeguards to defend citizens rights, whatever that is supposed to mean?

What’s wrong with the 4th Amendment isn’t that sufficient for DHS & NSA?

In 2009 DHS published an unclassified indictment of Conservatives for stoking Rightwing Extremisim which asserts with no evidence that an unquantified “resurgence in rightwing extremists recruitment and radicalization activity” is due to home foreclosures, job losses and the historical presidential election.

Trampling on Civil Rights—on Tuesday I wrote here that DHS is now rolling out a fleet of Roaming XXX Full Body Scanners that may see through homes, other structures and peek through your clothes.

Trashing the Constitution–Government XXX Roaming Full Body Scanners, Coming Soon to a City Near You

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

Surprised by this latest invasion of personal privacy by the Obama Administration? Claiming to be a protector of civil liberties, more worried about protecting the civil rights of Islamic Terrorist Thugs at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba than Americans 4th Amendment Constitutional Rights.

U.S. Dept of Homeland Security is now rolling out Roaming XXX Vans that may see through homes, other structures and peek through your clothes.

Our civil liberties are constantly under attack by far reaching government zealots, arguing that its all about public safety and security, continually chipping away and eroding our Constitutional Rights. We only have to look as far as XXX Full Body Scanners at U.S. airports—Government intrusion into our daily lives.

Whats next? Where does it end? It doesn’t.
