(California Catholic Daily) Dr Kermit Gosnell’s history of injuring Women through reckless abortion practices extends as far back as 1972 when he injured 9 Women by testing an experimental abortion device on them that caused plastic razor blades to lacerate their wombs–even then, Gosnell escaped receiving any disciplinary action with the state turning a blind eye as it would for the next four decades, while he operated his House of Horrors in Pennsylvania.

Referring to the Grand Jury report that was complied after Gosnell was arrested, in 1972 a group of 15 Women in their second trimester were bussed from Chicago to Gosnell’s Philadelphia offices on Mother’s Day for abortions. According to the Grand Jury, what unfolded became known as the “Mother’s Day Massacre.”

(CNS News) Its gruesome, disgusting and the murder trial at the “House of Horrors” by Dr Kermit Gosnell the Philadelphia physician, now on trial for seven counts of murdering babies by slicing their necks who had survived late-term abortions, which the dinosaur media has nearly completely ignored.

Gosnell, once allegedly telling his long time teenage assistant, that a withering born baby whose neck he had just severed, was like a chicken with its head cut off.

Cracks are beginning to show in what anti-abortion activists argue can only be plausibly be explained as a deliberate black out by national broadcasting networks–ABC, CBS and NBC for their failure to give so much as a nod to the Gosnell trial.

Recently 20 Conservative Leaders have joined Newsbusters Publisher and Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell a statement denouncing the silence of the MSM calling it a national disgrace.

They have now been joined by Rep Scott Perry (R-PA) who has criticized President Obama and the dinosaur media for ignoring the Pennsylvania trial of Gosnell accused of infantcide and the death of one young Mother who died after going into cardiac arrest during an abortion.

“Mr President, your silence is deafening–are you so blind, are you so intractable, are you so extreme that you yourself can’t even call this out for what it is…”

It arguably is, given President Obama’s support for China’s One Child Policy and the media’s silence of the atrocities committed by the Chinese regime.

Senator Ted Cruz: Restore Growth First–Defund ObamaCare

(Red State/Sen Ted Cruz) For the last four years, our economy has grown at just 0.8% per year. As a result of this anemic growth, 23 million Americans are struggling to find work and millions more are being denied a fair opportunity to achieve the American dream.

Economic growth these past four years has been a small fraction of historic levels: Since World War II, our economy has averaged 3.3% growth each year. Until economic growth returns, none of our economic problems can be solved. Improving the lives of the middle class, protecting our seniors, empowering people to escape poverty and reining in the federal debt…all depend on economic growth.

The very first priority of every elected official–Democrat and Republican, should be restoring economic growth, so we can ensure continued strength, prosperity and opportunity for the next generations.

ObamaCare does precisely the opposite. It is already hurting small businesses, reducing the hours Americans are allowed to work, forcing employers to drop coverage and leading to substantial increases in health care premiums especially for young people–and if ObamaCare is fully implemented, it will create an even further drag on the economy, killing jobs and making it harder for those struggling to climb the economic ladder.

In my view, ObamaCare should be fully repealed and I have introduced legislation to do so.

At a minimum, however, it should not be implemented at a time when our economy is struggling so mightily, at a time when its implementation could push us into a full recession.

Therefore, when the Senate votes on the Continuing Resolution, I intend to offer a “Restore Growth First” amendment which will delay funding of ObamaCare. I believe we should continue to delay such funding at least until economic growth returns to historic averages and I intend to object to consideration of any Continuing Resolution that does not include a vote to delay funding of ObamaCare. Last quarter, our economy grew just 0.1% Getting growth back, getting Americans back to work should be our top priority and we should all roll up our sleeves and work in a bipartisan way to get that done.

Townhall During a discussion on FOX News The Five about concealed carry on college campuses, liberal co-host Bob Beckel demonstrated his complete ignorance regarding the sexual violence that Women face particularly on campuses saying, “When was the last time you heard about a rape on campus?”

Just because each and every rape on/off college campuses does not receive widespread spread media attention does not mean its not happening. Here are just a few statistics from NYU’s Student Health Center Mr. Beckel may want to familiarize himself with:

1 in 4 College aged Women report experiences that meet the legal definition of rape or attempted rape;

1 in 5 Women are raped during their college years;

Most survivors of sexual assaults are full-time students, approximately 1/3 of them are first year students between the ages of 17 and 19 years old;

81% of Women who were stalked by a current or former partner were also physically assaulted by that same partner;

80 to 90% of sexual assaults are perpetrated by an individual known by the survivor;

1 in 12 college aged men admitted committing acts that met the legal definition of rape;

35% of men report some likelihood that they would rape if they could be assured they wouldn’t be caught or punished;

Fewer than 5% of attempted or committed rapes are reported to law enforcement.

Also disturbing, was the fact that serial misogynist Bob Beckel seemed to downplay a Women’s right to self-defense in cases of date rape. Regardless of who is attempting to rape a Woman on a college campus, or anywhere, she should be entitled to defend herself and university policies ought to reflect as much. As Townhall’s Katie Pavlich reported here on Wednesday, an emergency call box and safe zones do nothing to help victims of rape.
