Blessed are You O Virgin Mary, Without Dying You Won the Martyr’s Crown Beneath the Cross of the Lord -Image Courtesy: Archbishop Jose Gomez
Standing near the Cross of Jesus were His Mother and His Mother’s Sister, Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw His Mother and the Disciple who He loved standing beside her He said to His Mother, “Woman, here is your Son.” Then He said to the Disciple, “Here is your Mother” and from that hour the Disciple took her into his home. John 19:25-27
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His steadfast love endures forever.
Let Israel say, His steadfast love endures forever.
The right hand of the Lord is exalted, the right hand of the Lord does valiantly. I shall not die but I shall live and recount the deeds of the Lord.
You are my God and I will give thanks to You. You are my God, I will extol you.
O give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 118:1-2, 16-17, 28-29
