Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. –Psalm 111:2
Praise For God’s Wonderful Works
Praise the Lord!
I will give Thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
Full of honor and majesty is His work
and His righteousness endures forever!
He has gained renown by His wonderful deeds;
The Lord is Gracious and Merciful.
He provides food for those who fear Him;
He is ever mindful of His Covenant.
He has shown His people the power of His works,
in giving them the heritage of the nations.
The works of His hands are faithful and just;
All His Precepts are Trustworthy.
They are established forever and ever,
to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
He has sent redemption to His people;
He has Commanded His Covenant forever.
Holy and awesome is His name!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! –Psalm 111:1-10
Prayer of St. Paul
“I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the Saint’s and for this
reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. I pray that the
God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and
revelation as you come to know Him, so that with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may
know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious
inheritance among the Saint’s and what is the immeasurable greatness of His great power. God
put this power to work in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His
right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion and
above every name that is named, (See: Hebrews 1:3-4; Hebrews 10:12-13) not only in this age
but also the age to come and He has put all things under His feet and has made Him the head
over all things for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all!
Amen.” –Ephesians 1:15-23
