Hail to You, Our King!
You alone are compassionate with our faults.

The Servant, Light to the Nations
Here is My Servant, whom I uphold (See also: Matthew 12:18; 17:5)
My Chosen, in whom My soul delights.
I have put My Spirit upon Him,
He will bring forth justice to the nations.
He will not cry or lift up His voice
or make it heard in the street;
a bruised reed He will not break
and a dimly burning wick He will not quench,
He will faithfully bring forth justice.
He will not grow faint or be crushed
until He has established justice in the earth
and the coastlands wait for His teaching.
Thus says God, the Lord,
who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it,
who gives breath to the people upon it
and spirit to those who walk in it.
I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness,
I have taken you by the hand and kept you.
I have given you as a covenant to the people,
a light to the nations, (See also: Luke 2:32; Acts 13:47)
to open the eyes that are blind (See also: Luke 4:18)
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon
from the prison those who sit in darkness.
I am the Lord, that is My name;
My glory I give to no other,
nor My praise to idols.
See, the former things have come to pass
and the new things I now declare;
before they spring forth,
I tell you of them. –Isaiah 42:1-9
Triumphant Song of Confidence
The Lord is my Light and my Salvation
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the Stronghold of my life
of whom shall I be afraid?
When evildoers assail me
to devour my flesh
my adversaries and foes,
they shall stumble and fall.
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war rise up against me,
yet I will be confident.
One thing I asked of the Lord,
that I will seek after.
to live in the House of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in His Temple.
For He will hide me in His shelter
in the day of trouble;
He will conceal me under the cover of His tent;
He will set me high on a rock.
Now my head is lifted up
above my enemies all around me
and I will offer in His tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy!
I will sing and make melody to the Lord!
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud,
be gracious to me and answer me!
Come, my heart says, seek His face!
Your face, Lord, do I seek.
Do not hide Your face from me.
Do not turn Your servant away in anger,
You who have been my help.
Do not cast me off, do not forsake me,
O God of my Salvation!
If my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will take me up.
Teach me Your way, O Lord
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
Do not give me up to the will of my adversaries,
for false witness have risen against me
and they are breathing out violence.
I believe that I shall see the Goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and He will give your your heart courage (See: Tehillim 27:14)
