On the 11 December, 2012 the Center For Security Policy honored radio host, best selling author and FOX News Contributor Monica Crowley with the Mightier Pen Award which recognizes journalists who promote the need for robust U.S. national security policies through the indispensability of American strength to preserving international peace.
The Mightier Pen Award was launched in 2001 in recognition of individuals who have through their published writings, contributed to the public’s appreciation of the need for robust U.S. national security policies and military strength as an indispensable ingredient in promoting international peace.
Past award recipients include: Roger Ailes, President, FOX News (2011); Mark Steyn (2007); Lou Dobbs (2006); National Review founder Wm F. Buckley, Jr (2004); and Washington Post contributor and 1987 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished commentary Charles Krauthammer (2002)
