Speaking to the United Nations in 2008 Iranian Fascist President Ahmadinejad called Israel the “Zionist Regime” of murders and his comments last year to the U.N. General Assembly were so stark, that they prompted a walkout by other nations.
To some observers, Ahmadinejad obsessive ramblings are the sign of an unhinged madman, others say that his incendiary rhetoric is part of a calculated effort to provoke the international community and cater to hard line supporters at home.
Whatever his motivations are, he presents one of the most thorniest challenges to President Obama, as both men and dozens of other world leaders are in New York today for the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly.
