(MarketWatch) Initial claims for jobless benefits rose to their highest level in a month by 4,000 during the past week to 371,000 during the week ending the 05 January–Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had forecast that unemployment would fall to 365,000
According to The Heritage Foundation the economy must add between 100,000 to 125,000 jobs per month just to keep pace with population growth.
