(Twitchy) Daily Beast columnist Kirsten Powers blasts Obama’s FOX bashing “60 Minutes” interview with Steve Kroft saying that it was more like “state run media” and a “joke.”
In a recent rambling interview with The New Republic “President Obama was back to his grousing about one television news outlet in America, that won’t fall in line and treat him as Emperor,” writes Kirsten Powers “Discussing breaking Washington’s partisan gridlock the president told ‘The New Republic’ if a Republican member of Congress is not punished on FOX News…for working with a Democrat on a bill of common interest, then you’ll see more of them doing it–the president loves to whine about the media meanies at FOX News–to him, these are not people trying to do their jobs,” in his paranoid mind, they are out to get him.
In June, 2009 NewsBusters reported that during an interview on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” President Obama, reflected on the media coverage that he had since the start of his administration and once again complained that, “…I’ve got one television station that is entirely devoted to attacking my administration–and you’d be hard pressed if you watched the entire day to find a positive story about me on that front.”
Back in the day when I was in school we’d say, its time to have a “pity party” for poor old Barry–Its time to man up President Obama and not be such a spineless wimp.
